How did we get here as it is now better to live in Benin Republic as their currency is stronger than the Nigerian currency.
So called giant of Africa is now the ant of West Africa.

As recent as 2020 2021, I used to get 6 average sized eggs for N200 from market retailers. It sold for N40 at home or neigbourhood retail.

I know next week it will add money, my main customer doesn't even have eggs.

When paint of corn is 3800 which translates to high cost of chicken feed how won't it be so expensive. I have some backyard cockrels and feed has added money.

Only God knows how much chicken will sell this December.

Those who have little children with low income how on earth will the children feed well when a child can't eat 1 egg a day again.

say what you are sure of Biko. I was in Anambra during Obi's tenure as governor. I used to criticize my governor's very well but I have never done that with Obi. The state was secure, best road net work, good education , investment galore , Agricultural revolution during his time. Biko , I refuse to agree with you pls. Obi was exceptional

I am so glad the internet was around during that time in Nigeria. Go through my Nairaland posts and you will find record after record of Obi's deplorable handling of things at the state level. He was nothing but mediocre during his entire time as governor. For Pete's sake, the man even commissioned public pit toilets; the man is still doing exactly what he did for 8 years as governor, which is commissioning mediocre projects. This was all during the same time that his counterpart in Lagos at the time, Fashola, was blazing trails as far as Nigeria is concerned.
