A very big lapses in NPF. Somebody was transferred to another state and he refused to report to the new station. The man rather promoted himself to a senior police officer with his full salaries and other allowances and operated illicitly for 9 years with out detection. Kudos to the community that brought out his dubious activities to limelight. Many heads supposed to roll.
