Dele is the Agbaya here. Okupe’s response to him was very matured without any name calling. Dele Momodu needs to calm down. He’s not the first person to be Atiku’s errand boy and won’t be the last. Fighting people unnecessary won’t get him political appointment.
Dele is not asking to be given any position. Why not be bold to question the wrong of this government? Mind you i didn't say Tinubu. See this is the worst we have seen and if everyone is clapping their is serious problem. I don't understand why all of a sudden we don't know the value of our lives. Check our currency amount to nothing. Are you not tired of people begging you? How many can you employ? Pay school bills or house rent? because the little pay have been turn to worthless paper

Dele Momodu is just so shameless. His desperation for power through an Atiku presidency has actually made him throw all cautions to the wind to keep attacking people unnecessarily and lying shamelessly.

Must everybody oppose the president? Is it a crime to support the reforms Mr. President is pushing? Did Atiku and Obi not promise to remove subsidy and float the exchange rate? Why are these guys intentionally heating up the polity? Political gains?

Even among thieves, there should be honor. Opposition doesn’t mean madness. We are all stakeholders in Nigeria and we shouldn’t allow charlatans like Dele Momodu to lead the narrative. Sensible and reasonable Nigerians must counter their lies and false narrative at all times.
How in the world is criticizing or speaking truth to people shielded in corridors of powers .. attributeable to "shameless"

The Tinubu you are trying so hard to defend did he not speak out against buhari when he felt his policies were taking Nigeria down the recession path, Did BAT not speak & criticize Jonathan even though we can now tell he is more clueless than jonathan
Mind you i am a hardcore Tinubu fan,i did not just vote APC i mobilized for APC... But Nigeria progress is more of a priority cos thats what can pay me

Tinubu govt is not just failing, the index that are meant to show we are on the path of progress are not even blinking .. tew much propagandas and repetition of govt lifestyle we know

We all can't sleep and face one direction naw

You increased petrol from 165 naira to 700 naira and you think prayers will produce money from sky for people to use it to buy petrol.

Millions of people have been pushed into poverty by the 'wonderful' policies of Tinubulation.

Tinubu reduced the value of our money by devaluation. That 1 million in your account in May 2023 is now worth less than 400,000 naira.
he devalued or it lost value from over importation

Worst we have seen by what objective measure ?
Stop talking Rubbish
We have seen a lot worse
We used to spend coins in Nigeria before Buhari did a coup
One dollar was 75 kobo within 1 year it was 4 naira. Nigerians had to queue to buy soap and rice even if you had money. So called essential commodities
Soldiers were breaking shops and taking food and provisions to auction
Buhari has done it again and left a huge mess

Do not deceive yourself
It is about Tinubu

The simple truth is those old enough to remember Babangida and SAP riots know how bad it was

Many of you want to see the country burn because Obi lost

The two policies causing pain are unavoidable
We cannot afford subsidy after all the borrowing and printing 23 trillion, We will feel the pain for a long time.

Anytime anyone presents these realities you want to make it about Tinubu and politics

I remember that both said they will remove subsidy but it was only Peter Obi that explained what he will do to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal. Tinubu only said he is going to remove the subsidy, even if the people protest till tomorrow. I heard him plain.
Obi said, he is going to remove subsidy but the will kill the corrupt in NNPC, because he knows it was not the barrel of liter declared that the country consume per day. He said, he will empower modular refineries by proper legislation. He said, if the corruption in NNPC is killed, that will substantially reduced the sharp practice in the pricing of the fuel. He said, he will revamp the moribund refineries to work. But the rest never explained to what they will do if they remove subsidy.
Mr. Man, when we were shouting let Tinubu come out for interview, many of you said it doesn't need and it doesn't matter but he goes to rally and stand at the podium with gyration to announce that he will remove subsidy and no one question him or ho he will do it. I think next time you people will allow him to attend interview for proper questioning of his policies. When Peter Obi was engaging in different interviews, you guys were abusing him that he likes camera too much but the effects are now glaring today.
Read what you wrote again carefully and tell us how this would have prevented the effects of the subsidy removal.

These things you describe have a cause
Government borrowing and printing 23 trillion made devaluation a fait accompli
So all these emotional stuff does not focus on our economic reality
All major candidates accepted subsidy had to go

The naira was already devalued Emefiele was just postponing the day of reckoning with tricks like currency change

If you print 23 trillion and throw it into the economy you have devalued the currency and it was just a matter of time before it manifested

At some point almost 100% of revenue us spent on debt servicing. Debt they claim they used for infrastructure
Well the debtors must be paid and who pays ? Nigerians

Most of you insulting Dele Momodu for saying the truth have not eaten this morning.
Tinubu government has failed. Yes all the candidates agreed to remove subsidy and float the Naira, but what has the money they realised after the removal of the subsidy used for? I believe one year is long enough to start enjoying the benefit of subsidy removal ( at least in one direction of the economy). But nothing is felt , rather hardship, insecurity and the likes.

It's only a FOOL that will keep supporting failure and use other candidates for their excuse of failure. We should call a spade a spade and stop this tribalism nonsense.

He built Lagos, he will build Nigeria. Don't worry, VAT/ WHT with soon be increased by 100% with no significant effect to economy.

The truth is always difficult to accept, nobody is against Tinubu it is this government I refer to I don't single out anybody. If all the presidential candidate agree to remove the subsidy did you take note of the modalities to put in place before removing it? If you wake up and be power drunk to make hash decision not only for urself but entire nation then something is wrong with you. Am sorry am not a fan of any political party. One way or the order it is telling on everybody whether rich or poor because it render one asset valueless. Imagine making and investment of 10m and right now same asset is not up to 6m in value and also those who feed from the little now that little is amount to nothing. I hop we get it right one day to have a leader who think deep before making any policy

Good
Let us have the conversation
Why did you bring up his name?

That is the truth that is Hard for you to accept
For you it is about him and anyone who does not agree with you is for him

So yes the truth is hard as you say
You remain embittered about Tinubu

There are people who want him or any other person who is president to succeed

You are not one
You gave no useful analysis or suggestions just bitterness and hatred

The government of Nigeria owes billions of dollars and trillions of naira illegally printed
Now is payback time
Who will pay? NIGERIANS

there is no escape

It is necessarily painful

Again no escape

If you are old enough you would know we have been here before

Modalities? That is grammar

If you don't do it you will experience worse

Study economics history around the world
When you borrow recklessly you lose control
Cause and effect

Even now we must borrow, raise taxes or shutdown government. It is srark

The list of stomach infrastructure self serving political juggernauts seem to be on the increase. Doyin Okukpe is just playing the same old political game that gives blind eyes to all the wrongs of this govt while trying to make us believe things will change for good with no evidence on ground except hunger and hardship.

He came out to instigate basta#ds like yourself during GEJ presidency that you were suffering and you came to loot peoples businesses , carry mock coffin and called your selves goat that you are . So what has changed? Its right for you to play dirty but you cant take it? Even fayemi came out to say it that your people were deceived by them just for an slowpoke to be voted in as president ? And now you have the temerity to tell people not to play polictics?

As there been a time that Nigerians been subjected to such wanton economy reality that have taken over the entirely life savings of the people, that a salary of a civil servant would not be able to buy a bag of rice. Are you aware today, a bag of semovita is ₦15,000. A bag of rice is ₦78,000. A bag of beans is ₦200k plus. Now, tell yourself was it how it was when I was in primary school, depending on your sha? As at today a tuber of yam is between ₦4k to ₦6k in the same obodo Naija where once upon a time a 120 tubers of yam, called ofa were sold less than ₦15k. Now you buy less than 5 for that price today. Comparing the groaning of the yester years to today is unwise of you.
You are very polite and I am ready to engage you.
Firstly, I am not in anyway justifying the current sufferings our politicians have put us only if we can holistically and honestly deal with them all but not selective targets.
Secondly, there is global problems and we are being directly affected because we depend too much on importations. This is also owing to age long corruption and greed.
Thirdly, why it is true we can't justify existence of the taxes and revenue collected, Nigeria pay almost the lowest tax rates in the world. Except Eritrea and Nigeria, all other African countries pay minimum 15% as vat, the current exchange rate of 1560 was used to compare the minimum wage in selected countries,
Let them use same rate to determine the cost of fuel and every other things, you will know we still enjoy in a way.

We complain of all the policies before now, should we continue in same ways? Rewanda did not just get it right overnight.
I am not a fan of Tinubu because he should also muster the courage to reduce the cost of governance ranging from national assembly to his own too not that it is the only poor Nigeria that should endure additional hardship
