Good day nairalanders

I have this thing disturbing me and I just want your honest opinion. I work in a place currently that my female colleagues are something else.
What I mean is that they discuss and make sexual jokes and say saucy and obscene things when they come around me,both married and unmarried.

One of them was bold enough to ask me if I had ever had sex or have a girlfriend, she was so keen on that. The married ones also come around me and try to get me like give them money,asking me if I have a girlfriend and has 'knacked' before, they say all manner of sexual stuff around me waiting for my reply which I don't reply in that same vein,I either scold them or leave their midst,but to me that isn't the first time I am having women talk so boldly about sex around me.

I remember one showing me even sex positions on her phone and asking which one do I like and have I done, and this lady can hardly let me be,though engaged to another man who is outside the country, this was in my former workplace.

In my service year as I corper,I have to intentionally lock my door from allowing my female neighbours and Corpers come into my room because I have two in my compound then discuss about sex brazenly and asking me if I had ever had it.

I don't know women could be so bold this way,I am still surprised that there are women who can make such randy jokes and have no qualms, I used to think that it is men that does it more,but from my experience I can say that most women are. I don't feel comfortable when I hear women make such jokes or say such things around me and to me I see such women as loose.

Please how can I handle these persons in my workplace without sounding abrasive or holier than thou.

If it is your workplace, make a report about sexual harrasment. It is really serious. If you were the one asking them about these things they would report you without hesitation. Double standard are real

That's sexual harassment. A lot of ladies can't take what they give. Soon you'll hear rumour that you're gay or impotent because you don't play along with them.

The true is that ladies are hypocrites. Sadly enough the world doesn't see it that way.

Sounds more like my previous workplace. The ladies there were so badt that they always talk about se.x, gbo.la and the likes whenever we're meeting amongst ourselves. Funny enough, most of them are decent ladies. They only like to run their mouths and tempt we the guys.

Personally, I hate discussing stuffs like that in public. But since it's workplace, one can't be seen as being too righteous. I'll just play along and act like I'm also a BADOO.

However, whenever I've had enough and want to chase them away. I'll tell them that we've been discussing THEORY since morning, how about we PRACTICALIZE it? The moment I grab one person closer, the rest will run away.

OP, the solution to your problem is quite simple. You gotta act like you're also a BADOO lest they will continue to trouble you. You're giving them the "MUGU VIBE" hence the reason they are trying to whyne you. All those talk and talk might be a way to empty your wallet, butter you up for manipulations or probably make you their bitc* at work.

If you try to act defensive by chasing them away or reporting them, they will make the workplace a living hell for you. As you already know, the workplace is the worst place to make enemies. Just play along for some minutes, then you should excuse yourself from their midst.
