Indeed, I agree with your submissions. I just updated my post and saw your mention. I thinks Kamala can do more by having a water- tight plan for dealing with global issues while ensuring that the economy on the home front (i.e., the U.S. remains strong) in a post-Biden administration. Illegal immigration is what is making some American folks in the U.S. states near the Mexican border to be really upset with the Biden administration and that has to be checkedmated. Folks want assurances that these influxes of illegal immigrants would be curtailed to keep the crime rates down.

I must commend the 81-year-old President Joe Biden for standing down from the Presidential race. He has written his name into the sands of time for that and saved everyone from further embarrassments. I hope that advanced medical techniques in the field of gene therapy that are still in the research stages can be finally approved to treat elderly folks who have Parkinson's, dementia and other neurological disorders since it's obvious that Biden has that kind of disorder which makes him to mumble words, repeatedly falling, walking with slow gaits, and momentarily forgetting things.
Right.

As to the border, which is something I didn't know, most of the issues with immigration are because of our asylum law. The US has a law that allows anyone that comes to a port of entry the ability to file asylum. And, because the system is a bit antiquated and the people have to be processed to determine whether they will get asylum and be able to stay, it takes a while. So people are let into the US, allowed to stay "temporarily" with court dates because there is no where to house them. Some of those court dates takes years. Now, because it takes a while, it's incentive for people to come to the US and try their luck and seek fake "asylums". But all this is legal as the immigrants have a right under US law to seek asylum. But, the recent bill Biden tried to get passed changed the rules of asylum, making it harder to claim asylum unless under more stringent criteria. It also gave more power to the border agents to do the initial screening. It added more personal to reduce the processing time to I think 60 days instead of years and shut down the border after a certain amount of people have tried to cross whether they are admitted or not. All that would decrease immigration as the incentive is gone. The Republicans didn't want to pass that law because Trump thought immigration would help him. So, at this point it has to be about more effective messaging.
Also, someone did a study. Immigrants generally commit lower crime than the Us citizens. Also the crime rate I believe is lower now than under Trump.

But that was my issue with Biden. His messaging. And something I hope Kamala will be better on. Republicans get away with seeding lies, and those lies become fact. Ex. Biden's son Hunter. I'm kind of upset that he didn't fight back when they went after him. A friend of mine brought up Hunter Biden recently. Someone who should be in the know. He had know idea Hunter Biden was a Yale Law Grad. Was an adjunct professor at Georgetown, was on the boards of major companies like Banks and was even appointed to be on the board of Amtrak by George Bush. My friend thought Hunter was some bum just using his family name based on all the Republican misinformation. Joe Biden didn't push back and didn't allow Hunter to and Hunter may spend time in jail because if it. Anyhow, my point is we are in a new era with the speed of the spread and depth of misinformation. Dems have to be quicker at pushing back or they cede the space to lies.

I respect what Biden did. It takes strength to give up power. Look at Trump. Biden has always stuttered. There are techniques to correct it which get harder to do when you are tired or stressed. Impressive that he kept it in line for the most part. Age is catching up to him and as it's clear he's slowed down significantly from last year. But the Presidency is an exhausting job as well, and wears most people down quickly. Look at Obama before and after his presidency. I say most, because it only does if you actually do work unlike Trump who looked the same. I just thought he couldn't do another 4 years at that pace of a president at his age.

It has reached the point where they are vocally expressing their desire to see their political opponents die by assassination

Where in it does it say they said Hur was lying?
That report was definitely misrepresented.
Hur misrepresented himself even from what he wrote in the report.
I think at one point in a top line summary Hur claims that there is evidence of willful retention. But deep in the report he says that evidence is insufficient at establishing criminality, he says there are plausible alternative explanations and other evidence against it being willful retention. Lol. So he is technically true in his top line summary, but is still basically lying about what was found

The problem is that people will read the misrepresented top line claim that there is evidence without reading the full report that that evidence is insufficient as there are other plausible explanations. Because it's a lot to go through the report.
I enjoy it, so I'll get into those weeds.

But it is shady, but if you google who Robert Hur is, was you'll understand his purpose in writing the report the wat he did. He is a product of the Right. And if he put out a report exonerating Biden he would be crucified like Pence and would have been the end of his career. So in order to let Biden off, which he had to as the evidence wasn't there, he had to crucify him to not go afoul of Trump World. It was Garland's fault for choosing him. He should have picked someone at the end of their career who wasn't reliant on another paycheck and wasn't reliant on Trump world.

You're like a fly buzzing around waiting to be swatted again. Time after time I embarrass you here and since have Stockholm syndrome, you come back looking to be embarrassed again.

For anyone who cares, this is a good article on the Hur report.
Bemeruca, English and Reading aren't your forte, so skip it as you'll most likely struggle with it.

But even without the prompting of a misleading “summary” by Barr, the press has gotten the lede wrong. This may be because of a poorly worded (we’re being charitable) thesis sentence on page 1 of Hur’s executive summary. Hur writes at the outset: “Our investigation uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen.” You have to wait for the later statements that what the report actually says is there is insufficient evidence of criminality, innocent explanations for the conduct, and affirmative evidence that Biden did not willfully withhold classified documents. Put another way, that same sentence about “our investigation uncovered evidence” could equally apply to Mike Pence, who had classified documents at his home, which is similarly some “evidence” of a crime, but also plainly insufficient to remotely establish criminality.

The press incorrectly and repeatedly blast out that the Hur report found Biden willfully retained classified documents, in other words, that Biden committed a felony; with some in the news media further trumpeting that the Special Counsel decided only as a matter of discretion not to recommend charges.

Do you remember the black church Trump went to?
I put up their website and a YouTube link for you to see their services and how they conduct activities. What did you do? You went to Don Lemon's page and screenshot the lies he was telling on how that's not a black church because he has been to a black church before.

You ignored direct sources, you ignored what your eyes saw and embraced a lie someone was telling.

So get the actual source from Hur, and tell us how his claim that Biden is senile is wrong. Compare it to the new narrative from the leftwing media and why they are forcing Biden out. After that, explain to us why you believe the media lies even if you can see Biden for yourself and make your own conclusion.

Furthermore, to butress my point that you don't get it, raumdeuter and LordReed are talking about Biden's mental capacity, what you are talking about is something else.

On the contrary, I have asked myself "Why do men love to have sex so much?" It led me to the answer which is basic biology. The presence of testosterone - the male hormone, not a mo.ron - is behind the urge for men to continually seek avenues to have sex, especially when they are younger. On the social side, many young men don't have as much sex because women are the gatekeepers. Since time immemorial, women have been hypergamous - gravitating towards brawny men - those days' means to earn good income - or brainy - these days' conditions to earn good money. In return, the men who qualify for these women's requirements get to marry them and have a continuous and stable source of sexual comfort. Young men have noticed that while their female contemporaries offered sex to the highest bidders at the same time denigrated their male agemates. I am sure many men at some time while growing up had their female agemates telling them "I don't date my agemates", "you are not my class" etc. I recall when I was in my final year first-semester discussing marriage with my female classmates, one told me to my face that "My wife dey SS1, not even SS3".

Also, my sister admonished me for asking about her friends just to know about them. The reason? I don't have money, so why am I interested in women? When young men hear and see this, it only means one thing: women have tied sexual access to material comfort. In return, we should not be tied to one woman when that material comfort is attained. And to me, this is fair. The popular adage goes: "A society that tells young men that they don't deserve women because they don't have money cannot tell those men to stick to one woman when they have the money".

Moreover, even in marriage, which is unfortunate, women use sex as a bargaining power for a wide range of reasons. When a woman deliberately deprives a man of sexual conjugal rights, that woman is merely telling the man to sort himself elsewhere. As mentioned earlier, testosterone is a hormone, not a mo.ron. My parents own hotels which I managed for a few years. I have met men who told me that their wives refused them sex, which is why they patronise hotels. I have had pastors, politicians, businessmen, doctors, engineers, lawyers etc., who are regular clients. Men love sex, more so Nigerian men. Here: https://www.nairaland.com/7496716/what-exactly-does-one-enjoy
The major reason why Nigerian men see the country as a place to enjoy life as a rich man is because of cheap sex. That thread could be taken as a mini-study.

See married Nigerian men narrating their experiences of their wives deliberately refusing them sexual conjugal rights: https://www.nairaland.com/7888125/wife-constantly-denies-me-sex

See how much Nigerian men spend on sex and sex workers; https://www.nairaland.com/7304604/what-highest-amount-paid-sex

It is because of these "mini studies" and experiences, that I don't condemn sex work, aka prostitution. I believe it is normal and men perpetuate it. I defend sex workers any day, any time. They are essential service providers. I have constantly criticised men, especially on Nairaland, who demonise sex work. I find it very hypocritical for patrons to condemn their service providers. I have protected sex workers from apparent danger and kidnap.

See here: https://www.nairaland.com/7684230/how-reduce-hook-ups-nigeria and here: https://www.nairaland.com/8064135/hook-up-girls-earnings-expenses-pictured

See the basic research which shows that men produce more testosterone than women: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22552705/#:~:text=Sexual%20desire%20is%20typically%20higher,in%20studies%20of%20sexual%20desire.

Any species which produces enough testosterone MUST demand a continuous supply of sexual pleasure. Thus, adultery or however it is called will continue to thrive.
You see the problem I have with you men. You judge or analyse your selves based on reasons, causes, intentions, what led to what. Then judge women by results, aftermaths, consequences.

I asked you to tell me the consequences and not causes for adultery. You dodged to give me reasons.
Yet when you were analysing single parenting , you were talking of consequences.

Well, but vices have come to stay sadly . developed societies have structures put in place to cushion its effect. The quality of the society determines how single parenting affect its. You cant keep doing the same thing and expect better results. With the shaming, scorn , poverty and discrimination, you will get the results you prophecy

The single parenting talk about is not only out of wedlock. Divorce, widowhood, causes( there was a time you shamed a man that was dating a widow). The adultery you support leads to broken home and single motherhood. But you keep quoting statistics as you wiśh

Despite visible history everyone can learn from, most people still don't take public policy issues seriously until they're affected by it. They don't bother to look beyond the immediate present benefits derived from supporting government pursuits that damage their national interests.

Nigerians in Jan 2012 thought they were smart in rioting against the withdrawal of fuel subsidies.

USA citizens in 2020 thought they were smart in supporting massive spending on covid subsidies.

Immigration in the USA is having a huge effect on the citizens, most especially the lower skilled and poorer working class folks and their neighborhoods. There's cities in the USA...New York and Denver are well known examples, where services for poor neighborhood have been cut and the money directly reallocated to spending on housing and food for ILLEGAL immigrants. Also immigrants commit a lot of crime, even entering the USA illegally or under false pretenses in the first place is a crime. Google is our friend.

You're correct. Adultery can lead to deleterious consequences. This is very true, especially if we accept a monogamous nuclear family as the best basis for a better society.

If I may ask, is it only MEN that engage in adultery? Another ancillary question - are men solely to blame for adultery? And I must clarify - I'm referring to consensual HETEROSEXUAL adultery, that's something that has to be mentioned these days.

Good Luck to Nigerians.

What does misrepresented and exaggerated facts mean?

When special counsel Robert Hur announced his decision last month not to prosecute Joe Biden for his possession of classified documents, he made a startling claim: The president suffered from significant memory loss, Hur wrote, botching dates, names, and details—including the year of his son Beau’s death. This narrative had a chokehold on Biden’s reelection campaign until Tuesday, when newly released transcripts of the two-day interview revealed that Hur exaggerated and misrepresented multiple statements in an obvious effort to depict the president as a senile geezer unfit for office.
LoLz. How is this then the Dems lying? When it was clear his characterisation of Biden in his report didn't match the transcripts?

Keep your emotions in one place. This crap you are saying now is what you have said to budaatum, raumdeuter and many more when you are seriously emotional. You subconsciously start to project your feelings onto them to make you look sane when in reality you are breaking down.

Your read hur's report so tell us how what you posted relates to what raumdeuter and LordReed are talking about? I know you have this tendency to be the center of attention, we know you are a professional notice-me. The discussion is Hur lied about Biden's mental state. Tell us how what you posted relates to that. You don't know what they are talking about but you want to interject.

You have been to a black church in US yet you did not talk from your own experience, you went to Don Lemon to explain to you why what you are seeing is not true after seeing their Sunday service and their website.

How long before your emotions run so high that you leave this thread once again? You are the only Harvard graduate here, don't give that institution a bad name.

Again, get the source or report your claimed to have read and tell us how Hur was wrong about Biden's senile state.

You should do more research before writing these posts.

1.) Spending
Deficit spending is a part of Keynesian economics. The belief is that you have to spend your way out of a recession.
Another basic principle of Keynesian economics is that the best way to pull an economy out of a recession is for the government to increase demand by infusing the economy with capital. In short, consumption (spending) is the key to economic recovery.
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/j/john_maynard_keynes.asp#:~:text=Another%20basic%20principle%20of%20Keynesian,the%20key%20to%20economic%20recovery.
And comparatively the US economy is doing better than most major economies even with inflation. Not sure there is any country that would not trade places.
The United States economy grew faster than any other large advanced economy last year — by a wide margin — and is on track to do so again in 2024.
U.S. winning world economic war
https://www.axios.com/2024/01/31/us-economy-2024-gdp-g7-nations
There were trade-offs after the pandemic. There was going to be inflation after everything restarted and I think companies are currently taking the piss. But, as I said I don't think any country wouldn't trade places.

2.) Immigration.
Asylum claims are legal. That is what most of the immigration is coming from. The problem is that it takes a while to adjudicate the cases (sometimes 4 years), so people are let into the US until their case is adjudicated which is the LAW.

How does the asylum process work at the border?
Those who arrive to the United States without advance authorization, but who can establish that they have a credible fear of persecution in their home countries, may be paroled. That means they are allowed in temporarily to apply for asylum. Some people—usually families and unaccompanied children—are more simply paroled into the country with a notice to appear before an immigration judge in the future.
Only a minority of these migrants are ultimately likely to be granted asylum. Although data does not cover all the relevant cases, between 12 percent and 17 percent (PDF) of cases originating with a credible-fear claim that have been decided since 2016 have ended with grants of asylum.

What kind of problems has this created?
Simply put, the U.S. asylum system was never intended to handle such large numbers.
Those who process and screen new arrivals for credible fear of persecution can't keep up. That's why so many migrants are paroled and released into the country until their case can be assessed. It is equally impractical to hold everyone in a detention center until their asylum claims are resolved. Even beyond humanitarian considerations, there are legal limits to who can be detained and for how long.
Court dates for asylum cases are, on average, more than four years out in the future, and even longer for final decisions. Over 3 million cases were pending before immigration courts near the end of 2023, with the backlog growing by 1 million since 2022.

3.) Immigrants committing crimes
Do you have any stat that says immigrants are committing more crimes as a group than Americans? I get the argument, more people, potentially more crime. But the argument that Trump is making is that immigrants by virtue of them being immigrants are prone to commit more crime. Do you have that stat?

Hur said Biden was not mentally capable to stand a trial

Dems claimed he was lying

Few months later the same Dems forced Biden to step down for not being mentally capable to be in a contest and rule for the next 4yrs
Are we reading the same article? Where does Hur say Biden is mentally incapable of standing a trial?

Hur's report mischaracterised the interview simple and short. Whatever other inference you want to draw from the interview are beyond the scope of what Hur was Investgating which was the complaint the Dems had. To now call that lying is a stretch the length of Ojudu to Mile 2.

You are what talking to a toddler feels like.
Go post some more pics of Canada pretending it's the US.
Jesus, you are a Loser.

You should do more research before writing these posts.

1.) Spending
Deficit spending is a part of Keynesian economics. The belief is that you have to spend your way out of a recession.

And comparatively the US economy is doing better than most major economies even with inflation. Not sure there is any country that would not trade places.

I thought you'd resolved to ignore my comments. I'd advise you to continue with that. I have zero interest in convincing you of anything.

Good Luck to Nigerians.

You don't have to convince me, but I'd assume you wouldn't want to be unknowingly spreading misinformation.

I can't wait to vote against Trump just because of that "Black Job" comment. Fux him and his minimizing black people.

When you can't argue with facts you resort to ad hominems that's your pattern

Did the Dem not rig out Sanders for Hilary in 2016 by supplying her debate questions?

Fact is primary voters chose Trump, the Republican elites though didn't like him respected the process and let him be the nominee. The Democratic elites had to tilt the scale

Same thing in 2024, the Democratic primary voters chose Biden, their elites pushed him out
Shhhhh there
Republican elites my ass, meanwhile convicted felon trump is backed by The Andelsons, elon, and billionaires like thiel etc. Una go just dey talk rubbish.

I need to try my hands on political prophecy. I think I'll be a sensation.

The first time I saw a profile of Kamala in the Washington Post when she was just freshly sworn in as junior senator, a clear voice told me she will be president.

Imagine if I started talking about it then, my stocks would have blown the sky.

Another reason was damning: that Biden's obvious memory lapses would make it hard to convict him.

Biden showed "diminished faculties and faulty memory," the report said

His memory "appeared to have significant limitations.

It also said these lapses were evident not only in interviews with investigators last year, but also in recorded 2017 interviews Biden gave to his book ghostwriter.

The report says Biden struggled to remember what years he was vice-president: "If it was 2013 — when did I stop being vice-president?" it quotes him saying during an interview last fall. He left the vice-presidency in 2017.

In 2016, Trump was not supported by any of the Republican nominee for president's alive from Bush to Romney to McCain. It doesn't get more elite for the Republicans more than those

Yep, they had their damn good reasons and it's clear to see. Even you, yes you, you can't even trust the life of your child in convicted felon trump's hands.

Even his Vp mike pence can't even support him. To you now, pence is an elite, abi? Rubbish.
