no need to ask for refund, she can use the same receipt from the first school fee she paid to reapply

Good day everyone,

Please i need your advice,

My flight to canada is 3rd of sept and i will arrive on 4th of sept however my program start date is 3rd sept,

Someone booked the flight for me last month without confirming my program start date. I checked the flight site to modify the traveling date but I can’t afford the price considering all the expenses i have already incurred and also future expenses in Canada.

I just want to know if anyone has experienced this before and what i might likely to meet at port of entry also at school when i finally resume.

Sincere answer would be appreciated.
Quickly send an email to your school to inform them of your arrival date, they will respond and let you know the next steps

What people are trying to tell you is that you won't get a visa due to the school that admitted you. It's not a DLI(Designated Learning Institution) institution and you won't be given a PAL(Provincial Attestation Letter) for your study visa application process. You also can't get a Post Graduate Work Permit. What you should do now is to ask the school to refund your deposit. Go on Google, search for DLI institutions in Canada. Click on any of the websites you see in the search result, and apply to any of the schools you see on that list. When you get admitted to any of those schools on the DLI list, you can come back here and ask questions on how to be guided in your study visa application.
The school is a DLI. Every other thing you said is true

i HAVE PAID 10,000 FROM 18807 SCH FEE.

HOW DO I FILL THE BELOW SECTION IN THE NEW PORTAL?
WILL I ADD BALANCE IN FUND AVAILABLE FOR STAY OR I PUT FUND AVAILABLE AFTER I PAY BALANCE?

* Room and board (in Canadian dollars) (required)
This is the total amount for food and lodging for the duration of the program (all years of study).

* Other (in Canadian dollars) (optional)

* Funds available for stay in Canada (in Canadian dollars) (required)

Good afternoon! I have a medical appointment at IOM Lagos on Thursday and I am looking to book a hotel room for tomorrow. Do you have any recommendations for budget-friendly and clean hotels in the vicinity of IOM Lagos? I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Sorry for the refusal.

What's the name of your school?

It's possible your school didn't respond to ircc enquiry during the verification of LOA within their timeline hence the refusal.

You would have to consult your school first and explain things to them before reapplication. This is me assuming you didn't get admission via an agent that probably gave you a fake LOA.

Finally, in your reapplication, don't be in a hurry to assume every other parts of your application were faultless especially your pof, etc. Reapply while assuming it's a first application even though you will address the LOA issue.

Goodluck

Good evening, please I need help, I booked medical appointments with Qlife family clinic for my parents this morning. I didn’t get any confirmation email after being debited N191k. I called the clinic to confirm what’s going on, I was asked to send an email to their ICT, after I did, I was told they can’t see the money on their dashboard, I contacted my bank, Kudabank and they said the money has gone through since I sent it. Has anyone experienced this before please? Cos I don’t know who to hold again.

*Room and board is the living expenses, some schools state the living expenses on the LOA while some don't. If your school didn't state it then you should use the IRCC standard.
*Others can be miscellaneous fund
*Funds available is what you have reserved for your temporary stay, or your closing balance it should include the deficit left and the living expenses with miscellaneous fund.

Even those that their school requested for only low tuition deposit ranging from 1k to 2k cad are seeing reasons to pay atleast one semester tuition before applying to boost their chances of approval, you are looking for one that will not request for tuition deposit.
Goodluck with your search

If you're a visa officer and you see that someone hasn't paid any tuition deposit, and they applied for a study visa, won't you have the feeling that the person has no intention to study?
Why do you think you can get a Canadian study visa without paying a tuition deposit. How do you even intend to convince the visa officer that you'll be in school, the money in your account is yours, and you'll return back to your country? You sef reason am.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by chrisifeanyi: 9:21am On Jul 24, 2024
You can still pay all your 2 years tuition with enough money in account and still get denied.
Paying tuition is encouraged but can never be a basis for rejection. An Iranian guy took IRCC to court in 2023 because his visa was denied reason being he didn't pay any tuition fee except the deposit, he won the case. Go and read about it. People get visa with only tuition deposit. People get denied after paying 1 year tuition and low pof.
Payment of tuition is not a criteria for visa. Deposit and LOA is what's is needed to apply for visa. However if you have, pay.

Yes. But it should be related to your current career.
