A post by Emmanuel Kings has gone viral on Facebook and has sparked reactions about how Igbo women treat their maids and alot of Igbo people on the comments section are agreeing with the poster.

The post reads: Igbo Women watching their kids eat while the maid works tirelessly like a War Horse.

Mr Emmanuel Kings. It's Anambra women. Even from the replies, you can see them talking about Anambra.

Not all Ibo.

It's really sad.

Why the hostility towards a maid that could pour rat poison in the house soup?

Those women no wise at all.

The real question is, who are the ones breeding this narrative?

If the so-called treatment is a reflection of their values, then we need to re-evaluate the essence of their culture.

When you look closely, the hypocrisy shines bright.

Yeah. I want to say it's really about personality.
But there's some truth to it, still. I've seen some gruesome shit done by Igbo women where maids are concerned.

I had a neighbour one time, a woman from Jos who I initially thought was Igbo only because of the general state of her maid.

Yeah, she was terrible. Will give the average wicked Igbo woman a run for her money.
