This Nwanosike of a man for example,would have other investments or companies in Rivers State.I bet anyone 110% that those investments or companies have either not been paying taxes at all,or not paying appropriate ones.Not paying at all is criminal and companies liable to being legally sealed.Not paying appropriate taxes is liable to a fine;you fine him a hefty one,that he would find difficult to pay at a short notice,so if he doesn't you seal it off.Yes,the employees would be out of job,but the goverment is not doing anything illegal while dealing the person a political and economic blow.
He would also have acquired lands,if he is unlucky,goverment appropriated or gazetted land;you seize them without giving him any option.Those ones that are not government appropriated he bought,he is likely not to have paid land dues,taxes and fees to have proper legal authority or may not even have done survey through the appropriate goverment agency,again this comes with hefty fine and give him a limited amount of time to pay all fees and produce all legal documentations,he fails,you seize the land.
You go to his community,he may have been using his power to acquire lands or other properties illegally using that power and closeness to the then goverment of Wike,you simply legally revert those properties to their original owners or community.
There are so many ways to cripple an opponent in Nigeria's warped structure and foundation.You could even go as far as making it legally impossible for him/her to step foot in Rivers State because some of the offences or illegalities the opponent committed are liable to arrest,prosecution and jail terms.
The Nigerian structure gives a governor so much power,that even a traditional stool that predates the Nigerian constitution and federal structure,makes the governor able to dispose a traditional ruler at his whims and caprices.
