When Tinubu Led Protest Against Johnathan, Agbero Did Not Hijack It by denisbid(op): 10:24am On Jul 26, 2024
When Tinubu led protest in 2012 no Agbero hijacked the process.
But during endsars Tinubu with the help of that stupid Mc Oluomo dispatched touts to cause destruction of public facilities in Lagos all to discredit the protest.
No wahalla,
They started what they cannot finish.
They sow a bad seed into a constitutional peaceful means of public voice against police brutality / bad governance.

Because, nothing can stop a peaceful constitutional protest against bad governance especially in Democracy, we will protest peacefully against this hunger and deteriorated economy.

And if they still want to hijack the process to cause mayhem to public facilities let them do it.
We are not going to back down, we will still carry out our constitutional right even if it will take destruction

Tinubu has always been a man of the people. Back then, he knew how to rally the masses without letting any miscreants take over. Those were the days of true leadership. It's clear he has always had the vision for a united Nigeria.

WHY THE PROTEST MUST HOLD

Despite Nigeria vast natural resources and potential, Nigeria continue to faces significant challenges, including corruption, unemployment, insecurity, and inadequate infrastructure. The political elite have priorities personal gain over national development. The high rate of unemployment and the exodus of foreign companies are symptoms of deeper systemic issues, even Dangote is regrating for building refinery in Nigeria.

The current political climate is characterized by calls for greater accountability, justice, and equity. Citizens are increasingly demanding better governance and transparency from the leaders. The challenges faced by the country, such as insecurity and economic instability, require urgent and effective solutions.

Understanding the historical context helps to appreciate the complexities and challenges Nigeria faces today. It also underscores the importance of active citizen engagement in shaping the country’s future.

Nigeria must demand transparency and accountability from elected officials, and hold leaders accountable for their actions, if not the prayers and change will yearn for, will never come to pass.

Anybody against protest is against Nigeria positive change. “For a change to occur there must be a price to pay”

This just shows how Tinubu has always been a man of the people.

Back then, he knew how to mobilize and inspire without letting the Agberos take over.

That kind of leadership is rare these days.

People need to remember that Tinubu’s vision has always been clear and focused.

While others are busy playing politics, he’s been setting the pace.

Dude, get your facts in the right order! Why did Mazi Kanu say Lagos should be burnt down? When he made that statement (which you lot are fond of taking out of the context in which it was said), violence had already been visited on peaceful protesters, with a number being murdered in cold-blood by the evil Nigerian state!

Also, did he SPECIFICALLY ask for his Igbos kinsfolk to ‘burn Lagos’ or is that just you editorialising the narration to suit your agenda!? Don’t you think he was addressing the protesters in general!?
