My partner who wants to marry me, will not let me see his phone..

He became frustrated and told me that until we are married, I cannot have the password. Was only when he left for work, he told me I could look at his phone . But that means he will delete messages while at work...he tells me he just is hiding photos of his daughter from a previous marriage for privacy of her, bit i dont know if that is true.

However, I did once once asked to see who he was messaging, and he showed me his Instagram messages. Some very small small (mild) flirting I saw. But nothing else. He told me that he never show any woman his IG messages before except me.

So now he came home and told me I can look at his phone any time I want (I am assuming he deleted everything).. I don't know how to feel... In my country this is very frowned upon.. women leave if access to phone is denied by partner. Every country is different.. but he is moving country for me so he can be with me and getting work visa so he can live together happily with me. I even there when he granted his visa in Abuja. He is no small boy, he is ready for marriage and to provide.. So my heart is confused... Nigeria may not see these things as a big wahala, but for me and my country it is...

I am not relationship expert but I can lend you alittle from my wealth of experience.

Accept what he given you. Now look for all the blocked contacts on his WhatsApp app and phone dialer app.

I can tell you without any iota of doubt that he is hiding something.

Lastly, it is now up to you whether you want take the risk or just end the relationship. Try as much as you can to be very mature about it.

He's definitely hiding something.

There's no PRIVACY in a relationship/ marriage.

Let me ask, which is more private? Your private part or his phone ?

You should be able to access his phone if he can have access to your private part at anytime, be wise.

Check his phone by all means and like someone has advised, check all his blocked contacts on all social media accounts.

Infact, act as if you are not interested in the phone anymore and let him continue his doings.

Pick the phone someday at random and check everything, probably when he's asleep.

You'd only be saving yourself from alot of troubles.
