We Nigerians like to see everything bad in what the government does but we never see the wrong in what we do...
Recently, there was severe flooding in Lagos...
Guess the major culprit of that flooding?
Building of residential houses and business premises on water ways.... If the government proceeds to destroy such structures, we the same Nigerians will cry about injustice....

On March 14, 2020, social media user, Demola of Lagos, shared a story of Mrs Joyce Dayser Adams, who lost her Auto shop in Wuye, Abuja, to demolition.

The autoshop, worth millions of naira in assets, where she goes about her daily business and trained females in auto works 'free of charge' was subject to a land use tussle. A court granted her ownership of the land and a restraining order on FCDA from harassing the occupants.

However, the order was disregarded and on the said day, FCDA moved in and reduced the thriving venture to rubbles, aided by a crack team of Policemen, VIO, NSCDC and some other security agencies leaving a distraught Joyce, heartbroken over her fortunes.

However, she picked herself up, set herself up again to keep her dream alive and later relocated to the UK. She went back to school, and graduated last month with an M. Sc in Mechatronic Systems Engineering.

Failure is not the falling down, but the staying down.

Unfortunately, she won't be an employer in the Uk

People are funny and I sense a bit of jealousy here. If your business is destroyed, it can cause a lot of depression. There are market owners whose shops caught fire and they died from high blood pressure or the shock of the news. May you never experience heartache that will cause your death. Most business owners have this problem. Something will happen to them that will almost make them take their lives. That she was able to go back to school for an advanced degree after the demolition is worth congratulations. Anyone reading this should help me congratulate her, she is my motivational monday. Ignore those whose advanced degree is Bad Belle PhD.

The Official was just doing his job. There was a land tussle ,if you had your land enchroached upon won't you seek redress?

Abi o. That's one of the problems we have in Nigeria, this patriotic citizen of Nigeria did everything right to save her auto shop that should have been the pride of FCT, but some disgruntled people thought otherwise. She picked herself up and has succeeded in improving her educational skills and some people keep making snide comments. Come to think of it, please can anyone who knows the location of her former shop go and see what was done with the land after it was demolished? Whomever can provide an update regarding the current state of the land will be rewarded.
