Senator Uche Ekwunife Urges Residents To Patronise Enugu UK Visa Centre by Good2go1(op): 2:49pm On Jul 28, 2024
Director General of the Southeast Governors Forum, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has called on the people and residents of the Southeast zone to make use of the Enugu centre.

According to her, the UK Visa Processing Centre in Enugu has a huge opportunity if they can apply and process their visas there, adding that it’s a low-cost, time and efficient one-stop window.

Senator Ekwunife, while commending the Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah over his visionary leadership in identifying the gap and need of the people by facilitating the centre, said the facility would enhance travel opportunities for those living in the region and eliminate the arduous task of travelling hundreds of miles for visa applications.

In a statement Ekwenife described the UK Visa Processing Centre as a milestone and crucial resource which the people stand to benefit from its immense potential.

I can confidently attest to the centre’s exceptional efficiency, professionalism, and user-friendliness which set a new benchmark for visa application processing in the region,” she said.

According to her, the visa processing centre offers residents across the five states and its environment, reduced travel costs and times, faster processing times for visa applications, convenience and ease of application, and also contributes to the economic and social growth of the region.

Most people don't know about it's existence. More needs to be done to make people know about it. No need for begging.

Urging ?
People don't need to be urged , they should go and sit down.

That's where Easterners living in the East do their visa processing as we speak , including my mum.

The little price difference between it and Abuja can't even pay for transport to Abuja, hotel bills and other logistics.

This is just another empty call.

How many times will they urge people to do things that don’t even benefit them in the long run?

While they’re busy promoting visa centres, what about the real issues on ground?

Job creation? Infrastructure? Or are they just looking to fill their pockets while the people continue to suffer?

Very good call from the Senator. The presence of the Visa centre is a welcome development and our people should utilise it when needed. Do not put yourself at risk travelling to Lagos to apply for UK visa.

She has a financial stake in it. It’s obvious.

Hmm, journalists can hide someone’s gender in a lengthy write-up. I assumed she was male until I read ninety percent of the article. I remember reports from the past where perpetrator genders were mischievously shielded. The pen isn’t may be mightier than the sword, yet I fear an AK47 over a proficient author.
