CrownedPhoenix:Three Obas were killed in a region the same time and day, it has never happened before where three traditional rulers were killed in a day same time and the region where it happened had not been able to revolt against those who killed them. KINDLY LEARN HOW TO REMOVE THE WOOD IN YOUR EYES FIRST BEFORE POINTING AT YOUR NEIGHBORS DUST. |

vengertime:God punish your life. If you think it is easy facing death, then carry your useless life and go face it. You fools keep talking ill of the security agents not minding what they go through. You're a useless person on earth. |

Nwaokunkpara:I WON'T BLAME POLITICIANS ON THIS ATTACK. IT'S IPOB/ESN RESPONSIBILITY. THEY'RE THE ONES TERRORISING THE SOUTH EASTERN NIGERIA. IT'S THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE IGBO PEOPLE TO FISH THEM OUT BY GIVING NECESSARY INFORMATION TO SECURITY AGENCIES OF THEIR HIDEOUTS. THEY'RE JUST A FEW BAD ELEMENTS CONTROLLED BY SAM EKPA AND INFLUENCED BY NPOMIRI. |

Sometimes, I do wonder with all this kind of news. Who is saying the truths? If truly the government in the regions want the terrorists out of the regions. They should give the security agencies the marching order. The terrorists and other crime vices will reduce to the minimum. |

You are asking why a whole region allowed it? The whole region or rather the members of the region that could have challenged this nonsense are all in Lagos and Abuja. They all scattered all over South West of the country. Even those left in the region are migrating to Lagos, Abuja and South western states in Night buses everyday. The left over are people still looking and planning to move, some that aren't bouyant enough for transport fare, small children, disabled people, local politicians, miscreants, religious people, civil servants and just some youths that are determined to stay against all odds, then millions of aged, elderly people. saintbillion:I thought you people said Uknown Gunmen in the east are not Igbos, you should be happy that they're being decimated... Or are you a part of them? Do you have friends among them? Your concern for terrorists is very suspicious. |
| Re: Unknown Gunmen Killed In Aba by Abagworo(m): 9:56am On Jul 30, 2024 |
CrownedPhoenix:The indegenes cannot do much na. Did you give them guns? The security agencies have intelligence reports they're working with but because these hits are unorganized and spontaneous it will be difficult to fully prevent them. |

Good One! The entire SE should get a surveillance helicopter like NIMASA and pursue such Lexus Jeep and others that escaped from the Air, like we used to watch in the America |

CrownedPhoenix:Why are the Easterners quiet, how? How do you expect them to tackle the gunmen with barehands?? Even if they formed vigilante groups, the vigillantes do not have the requisite training to match the commado-styled ambush tactics of the criminals!! It is the job of the Nigerian security agencies to go after these hoodlums; They are better trained in combats and intelligence gathering than the civilians. The only thing the ordinary SE person do is help the security agents with actionable information, but the informants are heavily challenged; The security agents hardly take action when given intelligence(Due to lack of capacity and motivation.) The security agencies refused to create the enabling channels and atmosphere to receive intelligence from whistle-blowers (i.e Guaranteeing the annonimity of the informants,Rewarding the informants) The SE citizens themselves mostly don't know who amongst them is an unknown gunman....just as you wouldn't know if your next door neighbour is a criminal. Therefore,it is very errornous to try to wonder if the citizens of the SE are indifferent....or even enablers...of the activities of these hoodlums; No!!!Far from it.(Only the registered IPOB members...about 55,000 of them worldwide...who were forced to swear to an oath of loyalty)are the ones sympathizing with the unknown gunmen! The remaining Igbos of over 62 MILLION peoples worldwide are supporters and voters of Alex Otti,Peter Obi,Soludo,Peter Mbah,Umahi,Uzodinma,e.t.c. As for Nnamdi Kanu,Majority of Igbos see him only as a necessary evil;a useful tool to be used as "the punching arm of the Igbos"against a perceived FULANI terrorism and tyranny and the injustices against the Igbos in the Nigeria Socio-political equation. That's all!!They don't see him as their leader the way he wishes!Never! What is his pedigree? That's why he can never stop them from VOTING in Nigeria's elections,no matter how he intimidates them. And also why Igbos often roundly IGNORES his calls for referendum!!Which referendum? When it's Igbos that actually owns Nigeria in terms of properties, investments, pop culture,sports,entertainment,economy,Academics,e.t.c,.Why would they leave the certainty of a country they built since the days of AZIKIWE to the uncertainties of a small enclave that'll most likely be led by tempestuous RADICALS like Kanu and Ekpa; Then calling for Kanu's release now is simply to use him to stop the killing of his fellow Igbos(mostly Police, soldiers, vigilantes, etc) in the SE,and create a peaceful atmosphere generally in,not only Igboland but Nigeria as a whole. This is how the Igbos see these things |
