I remember Nico Sweet. It was black in color and had a orange nylon wrapper . Onyeka Onwenu's songs are evergreen. My mum was a huge fan of Onyeka's music. May her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

I was in Joburg some years ago, I went shopping somewhere in Sandton, i noticed the surprise on the cashier face when I dash them coins after I make payments, it got me thinking.. That coins? Why are they so happy about common coins.

Little did I know, that the coins had value and some of them were 5rands. I picked up the menu book and saw that a quarter chicken and a bag of chips was what I was dashing to the cashiers.. no wonder they were astonished and happy.. lol!

The kind of people we have today calling themselves politicians have no clue what an economy is all about, so they hated that part of coins.. And it is killing our economy!

Nigerian government actually claims that the cost of making coins is higher than the value of the coins itself. I don't know how true the claim is.

If Michael Jackson, the king of pop and the most famous human being that ever walked the earth was forgotten in less than 2 years, what makes you think is Onyeka that will be remembered for ever? I am just curious please.
