Please what are the advantages and disadvantages of buying land that has foundation already

Its either the land had been sold to another person, then sold to you. Or the person needs money, ask virtal questions like?

Is a genuine land,I only wanted to know if there are disadvantages since there is already small foundation in it.
Because I am not planning of building house there,I wanted to buy it,and keep it to resell

if its a family land, you are safe.
But, if you are buying it from community then their is a problem.
