PHIPEX:
Was Ojukwu not contesting against Obj yet Igbos supported Obj 90%.

Tinubu is a Ronu champion QED who thinks he can discard the Igbos and succeed. When he deals with the Igbos, he deals with the vilest of them all like Joe Igbokwe and Hopeless man.
But he discarded you in the last election and still won. You don't count.
Note: I am not a fan of tinubu but you guys are irrelevant.

Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu has clarified his statement in an Enugu presidential rally on Wednesday, where he warned the southeast to be wary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continued service to the region with “a slice of soaked bread”.

I hope the above clarifies his comment.

If you can't bring proof of his EndSARS comment, maybe the person you heard it from lied or twisted it. I would have loved to (easily) debunk it the way I debunked the "slice of soaked bread" one above.
Lolz. Like I said, you know what you're doing.

Buhari was wise enough to carry the whole North along NE, NW, and NC. Is Tinubu doing the same to the South?

helinues:
Same way some Southerners taunted former president Buhari for 8 years is also the same way some Northerners are currently taunting president Tinubu which can never change anything. Na just normal politics ranting.

Make una stop accusing the whole Northerners

A shame you made an allegation about President Tinubu that you are not able to defend, please don't do that again, you hear!

Obidients must show the pain of an election defeat over a year after, too bad.

I am a barrack boy brought up in almost the three major regions in Nigeria and I can tell you for a fact that Igbo's are the most politically wise people we have in this country (same as Edo).
They knew very well that even though Ojukwu is a great war Lord, he will make a poor civilian President or politician. Are you aware he even lost Senatorial election in the same Anambra State ?
Infact, don't be surprised that Nnamdi Kanu may not win local govt. Chairman in Igboland if they find him not worthy for the post despite his popularity.
FYI: My assertion is only based on a truly free and fair election in Igboland

aswani:
Per the text in bold, it was Ndigbo that thought they could discard him and succeed. Hopefully lessons have been learnt.

President Tinubu was the first to make a great Ndigbo man, Joe Igbokwe, a commissioner in Lagos state despite opposition from some people.

Well, did they not say Obj's father is an Ndigbo too so he was contesting on home ground, nutin spoil grin.

On a serious note, it would be nice to know why Ikemba's presidential ambition wasn't supported fully by Ndigbo like they did Peter Obi who is an ant compared to Ikemba.

You are very naive not to know that in any election whenever the 2 regions out of 3 collude, they will win. Obj, Yaradua and GEJ discarded the South West in the past and won because Igbos and North went in one direction. Stop feeling funky

Thanks for this, I have learnt a lot.

Never understood how Ikemba wasn't a strong rallying point politically for Ndigbo's. Anyway I won't derail the thread with more Ikemba questions, it is fascinating sha.

What insult and nonsense.

Of what use is the dot nation of 5% ? Ibis have no electoral value on Nigeria as shown in the 2015,2019 and 2023 elections.

Why did you think Tinubu ignored the SE in his campaigns ? Because it has been discovered that anybody can become president of Nigeria without a single vote from the SE.

You can only cry and make noise but can't make electoral impact.

Tinubu does not need you. To hell with you Ibis.

Your foolish eyes just opened having in your second attempt to unseat Tinubu through the failed protest.

OfoIgbo:
Tinubu's legacy is hunger and hardship.

No one will even vote for anyone endorsed by Tinubu, and there will be a massive and violent upheaval if he tries to use INEC and the judiciary to install his protégé.

He started very negatively by using unnecessary tribalism against the Igbos in Lagos, unleashing his ethnic minions to undermine innocent Igbos. Some of the people in his kitchen cabinet are known Igbo-haters and he rewarded people like Asari Dokubo and Omokri, whom he felt, were anti-Igbo individuals.
His lapdog Lagos governor embarked on policies that he absolutely knew will hurt the Igbos majorly, and he felt no remorse about it.

God punished him for his evil, by ensuring his government's seen as the worst government to ever govern Nigeria.
Even in this current protests, his bootlickers are still trying their damned best to blame Igbos for it, but God has made it difficult for him and his evil gang, to rope the Igbos in. Even Hausas and Fulanis are beginning to see the evil gaslighting against Igbos, emanating from Tinubu's camp. Tinubu hoped on relying on the good old Igbophobia, to cover for any failings in his regime, but God has truly exposed him. There is now no place for him to hide.

Igbos voted for OBJ and he turned out to be the best Yoruba president ever to lead Nigeria. Around 2022, Igbos advised Yorubas to ensure Osibanjo emerged in APC, so that there will be two competent southerners going for the presidency in 2023, but long throat and Igbophobia will not allow Yorubas see that Tinubu will be a disaster. Today, the call made by Igbos is looking prophetic. Tinubu has broken every record in cluelessness.
Empty barrel chest-beating as usual.

The entire SE times 3 cannot move Tinubu out of Aso Rock.

Months ago, I wrote about Northern conspiracy to take over power in 2027.

I highlighted the pressure on Tinubu to consolidate southern alliance after the undertone coming from the North.

Some myopic South westerners who are either dull or too dumb to understand responded negatively on effort to get back Southern support..

To these set who think Tinubu need only the SS, I laugh...

The current protest in the North has shown clearly how they view Tinubu. They actually took the protest to another level..

Northern political leaders are behind the scene, quiet, strategically plotting and playing the game.

Will be very hard for Tinubu to even campaign for 2027 in the North without serious consequences...

Despite the large amount of money given to traditional rulers, religious rulers, APC politicians and influencers, the protest still went ahead, people's power always wins..

The people of the North will rise against this government in 2027 despite the amount of money that will be dished out to those already stated above..

Tinubu should follow Obasanjo's route if he has any chance of re-election , RESET relationship with Igbos to fully consolidate Southern alliance.

Having 90 percent of those around you as Yourbas and removing Igbos from government is a terrible strategy from day 1 as a Southern candidate.

Buhari in his nepotism rallied the entire North around him which strengthened his government despite failing the nation..

Tinubu have less than a year to reset alliance with entire south, yes less than a year.. Get down from the high horse, go to SE, meet with governors, people and even meeting Peter Obi.. Be genuine, meet their demands whether is releasing Nnamdi Kanu or stronger FG projects in the South East, clamp down on South Western ethnic champions and ronu nonsense.

Otherwise, the North who has sensed the chance will align with Ibos to finally destroy APC.

OBJ was the smartest Southern to govern since democracy, carried the whole south along.

GEJ despised Yourbas who went on to play with the North

BAT is despising the Ibos, history is about to repeat itself.

Already same protest that happened before APC was formed is happening. By next YEAR, a new alliance will be formed..

Finally, for some idiots who think politics is about championing hatred and division, your rubbish didn't stopped the protest and double of the rubbish will not save Tinubu in 2027 if reset doesn't happen.

Once Tinubu is gone in 2027, APC will lose Lagos in the Gubernatorial...
If you are a Yoruba person then you are among the wisest Yorubas alive today.

You ought to have been among Tinubu's thinktank group from the beginning of Tinubu's regime.

But unfortunately, there is little to nothing Tinubu will do to reunite the Igbos with Yorubas politically because Tinubu started on a very dangerous tribal division and hatred against Igbos and his supporters made it worst and have destroyed any form of unity that could have ever existed between Igbos and Yorubas politically.

The only way Tinubu can win some Igbo support organically is for Tinubu to be just, fair and morally upright in his leadership of Nigeria.

He should try and do the right things that benefits all regions of Nigeria. His trying so hard to make Yorubas see him as another Awolowo by concentrating all his projects and appointments in Yoruba region and in the hands of Yorubas is part of the reasons he is failing as a President but Yorubas fail to see this. They are making the mistake of supporting Tinubu to replicate Buhari's nepotism, and where Tinubu's own becomes worst is that he is only carrying Yorubas along whereas Buhari carried the whole North along in his own nepotism.

The only way out for Tinubu to have another chance is for him to focus all his political mercenaries on restructuring Nigeria completely as a legacy he would be remembered for should he fail to win a reelection which is already obvious that he won't win.

Let him focus and restructure Nigeria which would favor Lagos state most, at least his people can remember him for that.

As for resetting the political relationship with Igbos, I don't see that happening under Tinubu, let him just be fair, just and upright in his leadership and some Igbos will support him naturally.

Igbos are not a people you can decide to use whenever you choose to,if the north and SW wants to continue rotating power amongst themselves, igbos will always be fine…NO ONE TELLS THE IGBOS WHAT TO DO.

It’s clear to the north now that they can’t do it alone.
It’s also Clear to the SW,that they can’t do it alone.
Igbos can’t be used to score cheap points against the north or SW.
The vote of Igbos is insignificant in deciding who rules Nigeria. The god of Politics Emilokan Asiwaju Tinubu has proven that in three consecutive Presidential elections. Why do you people find it difficult to learn new things? This is why you continue to fail. This last election, Emilokan JAGABAN also proved another point, that is, the votes of the North does not decide who wins the national election, you all can see who Tinubu JAGABAN divided the Northerner votes into many parts between himself, Kwankwaso and Atikulation, that was a political strategy to tear off the Northern votes. Just watch and see the 2027 formality Presidential elction which Tinubu JAGBAN has won long ago.
