I'm sure most of those households must have voted for Tinubu. They must enjoy the change they voted for.

They need no PICTUREs to learn or motivated. I saw none myself yet I was able to get started despite having no background at all.

To me, all they really need is HUNGER for selfReliance
You mean you are farming al those things alll by yourself despite having no prior knowledge.
I'm impressed with you. I just thought pictures will motivate people to see that it is possible especially doubting Thomases like me.

they actually are very simple especially since all I need do is ensure they're weed free , and watered and those don't have to be done daily.
Watering Once every 2 days (even if it's just Morning or Evening) should be enough and if properly mulched, once a week might be manageable.

With nature of ma work, me no get time at all at all but I make out at least 2-hours once a week to attend to them and for watering, that doesn't take up to 30-minutes and I don't even do them everyday sef, just once every 2 days. Sometimes sef, na evening or once a week sef.

Only thing that could cost me up to 1 or 2 hours is maintainance such as weeding and that's like once in like 2 or 3 weeks or atimes sef once a month.

All na just sense, wisdon and strategy. Planning on building a very big cage and I am currently picturing how it would look and work so as not to stress me

6 stands of Okra,

12 Yellow (Igbo) Pepper. Have plan to increase to 30 stands ,

4 Tatashe Pepper,

7 ugu plants (2nd attempt after previous attempt failed),

3 Bitter leaf plants,

4 Scent leaf plants,

13 stands of Pawpaw (Agric Variety)

52 stands of Plantain (Agric Variety)

3 stands of Banana (Local Variety)

About 9 or 10 stands of Yam (2nd attempt after previous attempt failed)

Have plans to buy half carton of isaBrown layer chicken (for egg production)
Have plans to buy and multiple local chickens (for meat production)
Have plans to rear CatFish (50pcs) + Tilapia Fish (50Pcs)
Have plans to plant other things, and include other animals gan sef.

The plan na to feed mySelf and family, then sell excess and with time, hopefully expand if need be.

Gradually, na only Maggi and PalmOil me go dey buy from market. The pupu from the Poultry and Goats and others would serve as Fertilizer for the crops.

Mind you, I be pure Omo Eko`. na 100% Lagos breed I be and early lat year was my very first time handling cutlass. Me no get Hoe but I get shovel.

Recently, me plant like 15 stands of Red Cassava (heard it can be eaten as Yam). Didn't plant the regular cassava because me never ready stress myself for processing.

All the above on approximately half plot of land. before you talk of space,
The plantain, I used spacing of 6ft x 6ft.
The yam I plant am where space no dey because I no say na climb e go later climb so no need wasting space.
The Pawpaw are planted on edges acting as secondary fence.

Me no sabi rely or wait on God or Government Oooo. The brain wey dey ma head no dey there for FANCY
So what's your point? Everybody should become a farmer. Do u know how fucking third world your reasoning is? In USA only 1.3% of the pop are farmers, yet they have so much excess that America is tagged the most wasteful nation on earth. Industrialization is the way to go not all these third world shithole bullshit

Never asked anyOne to be anything. Me just talk ma own so those wey wan follow, go follow.

it's even more painful when I see those with better resources wasting away. Some people's phone can buy a half plot of land. What some need is selfContained apartment in mainLand but dem go rent 3-bedroom flat for isLand.

And just so you know, Me be Ajebo (100% Lagos born and raised), and I be graduate + into IT (hence not jobLess) + not as poor as a lot of those constantly crying and disturbing Government + God yet I still find nothing wrong doing some gardening.

I sacked NEPA / PHCN right from Jonathan regime. We need understand there's nothing as BAE as being selfReliant. I just talk make I share am, who knows, might inspire anyOne even if na just 1 person in every 1-million that reads it.

Your idea is good, but the world have moved on from what you doing, everything is now industrialized for self sufficiency.
First world countries and even most developing countries all have commercial and industrial food production.
Maybe you should start refining crude to cater for personal use/or produce your own drugs for your health care.

Well let those who could afford waiting on the Government and God to help them keep waiting, while THOSE who can't go ahead and help themSelves.

the Idea is to reduce our level of reliance / dependence on external factors. Ever wondered why most nigerians do much better when they travel out of the country ? Person wey dey carry 50KG load for him home country, go get less issues carrying 10KG in foreign country

There's the Variety whose leaf is somewhat RED. Ask any (Cassava) farmer and they would tell you. That Variety can be roasted or boiled.

well I am not a very Experienced farmer.

One thing I know is, Cassava contains high level of Cyanide which can be dangerous if not properly processed. BUT that Variety with red leaves is kinda different. Any REAL farmer would tell you same and getting the stem ain't hard at all as it's often planted together since it equally serves same purpose as the others.

Tinubu just reduce the price of fuel and disel and the prices of foodstuffs will reduce and come down...it's the high costs of transportating this foodstuffs to the market for sale that is causing the high costs of foodstuffs.. simple
