An hungry man is an angry man, an angry man does not think rationally.

“On the same day, protesters vandalised several government properties, including the office of the Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Agency on Sokoto Road in the heart of the state. Part of the office was burnt, and furniture and other items were stolen.”

Our correspondent reports that this unexpected escalation has raised concerns about the protests’ direction and the potential involvement of external influences.

Looking at the comments, the Peter Obi loss of the elections in 2023 is really hurting these Igbos sha.

They have the right to be frustrated because Aguyi Ironsi was the last person to sit at the helm of affairs in Nigeria and that was a long time ago.

They badly wanted the Presidency to the extent no one in Igbo land voted for anyone except Peter Obi.

They lack resilience, and they are emotional rather than logical, if you want to talk about politics with an average Igbo man, you will end up getting insulted, it's really bad
Seeing your comment, small pikin go think say you self get sense.

How does this nonsense you commented contribute to the fact that Nigerians are hungry? Is it the Obi that took fuel to 900 or 1000? Is it the Igbos that made bag of rice to soar to almost 90k, Yam, Beans and other commodities? Is it the Igbos? Why are you Yoruba Muslim so dull to accept the fact that your brother in power f*ck up? Why?

Do you people really have conscience? The Igbos self remove their hand from the protest and yet una never seize to mention them. My friends in the east says that no protest or single protest is going on in the east and yet you Yoruba Muslim keep calling them. Your master Hellanus have even confirmed that your APC is a disaster. This your new job go soon tire you. Dey play or you will lorn

We need to start telling ourselves the hard truth that this Geographical Contraption called Nigeria shouldn't be existing as One Country.

We can never unite to build the Nation of our dream.

People's allegiance are to their ethnic Nationalities rather than to Nigeria.
Nobody truly believes in One Nigeria. Even Tinubu that packaged Buhari for Nigerians and selfishly watched him crumble the Economy for 4+4yrs, just to have his own turn, is the #1 culprit.
Even in your family, your allegiance is to your immediate household. That's what Azikiwe said and it's my signature on this account/handle. Unity is not uniformity.

Even if we split, all the way down to our community level, we'll be telling the next guys how they're not supposed to partake in certain things produced by certain areas.

Unity is not uniformity.

How can a sane human be in allegiance to Nigeria?
One can only do that to a country that caters for his or her social, security & welfare needs.

You put it right, even BAT doesn't pay allegiance to Nigeria.

I didn't read the person's post you quoted but I just have to respond to you. You are all over the place, with a lot of misses without a real point. If you are intelligent, you will know that president Tinubu policies are great for a country looking for a change for the better not a jungle like Nigeria. You also said we are awoken to the north's scheme, no it's not lost on anyone who the north is, it's just that they are still better than igbos and we saw that we could still work with them at the time and even in 2027, it all depends on where this ends. As for igbos, we will never dream of teaming with you, you are already a clear enemy while the north is at the border line. I want you to understand the points I'm making here because you made it seems like you said something but it was all empty. Yes both the north and Gej can be responsible for bokoharam with the part each took in dealing with the problem, and that does not mean he has 2 mouths or 5 like you said. Peter Obi, igbos, Atiku and the north can all be behind the chaos going on. If I were you I won't celebrate yet because you don't know where all this will end. If Nigeria divides today your people won't be smiling for a very long time.
Kukutente23:
You lots are suddenly wise to the schemes of the north now.
I thought last year they were your dependable partners in progress.
Suddenly the north are to blame for boko haram no longer Jonathan.
It's obvious you have like five mouths.
Anyways your Tinubu is the one giving the north reason to do this with his harebrained policies. Let's not forget it was southerners that championed the protest.

You secured your region with nairaland likes and shares. You're such a clown. I have tears in my eyes reading your comedy.

If Tinubu was able to manage the economy, a popular protest such as this couldn't have happened. Stop diverting to one yeye region to hide your shame. You can't secure an ant not to talk of a region
the northerners would still have found another scheme to undermine Tinubu's government. It is funny how all the candidates promised to remove fuel subsidy, but the same northerners want Tinubu to reintroduce it.

Igbos rejected you first. Now the Northerners. Are you not isolated and orphaned already? Hope the North - SW alliance that you people gloated about after election is doing well.

You rejected us really? We rejected you long time ago and our own is the president now and may be the last president of Nigeria.
We don't care about alliance until elections are near and there may not be another elections. Yoruba are the only people who don't need any part of Nigeria to stand, we are blessed. Same can't be said about you, you perch on your enemy's territory for survival, it doesn't get more abandoned than that.

Tinubu knows his balls can't carry him, even in a thousand lifetime, the thief dares not.

Of course they will. That's their stock in trade when not in power and the man there is not dancing to their tune like they want.
The irony now is that Tinubu is the one giving them the ammunition against his govt.
During OBJ, they used sharia
During GEJ, they used boko haram
Today, Tinubu's mishandling of the economy is giving them legitimacy for revolt

Unity is not uniformity.
Your analogy doesn't hold when considering Nations.

It's only in Africa that people with different indigenous languages, culture and ethnicity are forced to coexist as a country. That's recipe for chaos.
Look at Europe and other countries of the world, each with their unique language and identity.
Maybe to you, it's not an issue if Israel and Palestine are forced to coexist as one country.

Your attempt at gaslighting a whole me is laughable. No, you are not making any sense. You just projected what you are guilty of. Indoctrination and hate are hallmarks of igbos, nobody comes close to that in the world. Infact they would let you patent those 2 in addition to propaganda, no one can do better than you in those 3 things. If you are white, you would be the most racist people in the world. It's so part of you that you can't see, but it oozes out of you even when you try to cover it up.

We are giving every side their size, igbos planned the whole protest and just decided not to take part of it in igboland. Many of you are leading the protest in the north and sneaking around in Yorubaland. We know how you operate. He didn't devalue the currency, the currency has nothing supporting it and there's no money to pay for subsidy. President said it that the govt before his didn't leave money for subsidy. Also 1 year is not enough to fix the rot of over 50 years. I know none of these matters to you people, all you spew are empty talks that have nothing to do with the reality on ground.
