Sapasenator:our people worship money like kilode. Sometimes i begin to wonder. They never take themselves out, they never go elaborate to enjoy themselves. Always thinking about money 24/7. Too bad. Thats why our kids cant compete with foreign kids. |

Kaczynski:You might be right, and might also be wrong. Maybe they want to work so damn hard for a short time and invest and retire back home. I had a friend who did Dat for 10 years now he is retired in Nigeria building companies. But, you said you have lived here for 15 years, even though you live like a church rat and don't spend, so why haven't you saved enough to retire? So basically you have wasted 15 years of your life punishing yourself. 😆🤣 And you do junk American foods? Why can't you go african market and get healthy food cook? Make you enjoy small ooo, life is not guaranteed ooo. Besides, some of those guys might just be born hustlers and now they have the energy they want to utilize it to maximum. I do HVAC and my job is 100 percent commissioned, and my job pays crazily, but that spirit of hustling dey still push me to do side hustling too, just coz I hate staying home some days in front of the TV it's boring |

You are just a writer writing from your imagination. You hardly get habitable part of canada hitting even minus 30 degrees talkless of minus 35 degree. Do you even know how minus 10 degree feels my writer? |

Sapasenator:and you think is the right thing to do? Go and see how messed up their kids are. I turned down jobs that would not give me that work life balance. I rather take a pay cut to clothe, bathe and enjoy with my kids. |

Thedon12:Hardly? Yes. But during winters some days reach -40 constantly. -20 to -38 plenty especially December and January. This is just for places like Alberta, sask, mani...Ont people may not see that low temp. |
| Re: My observations about some of our japa brethren in North America by Thedon12(m): 1:17pm On Aug 10, 2024 |
Is a lie,Edmonton didn't hit -minus 50 degree last year. I just check it. Once the temperature drops below minus 10 degrees, activities reduce everywhere. Do you guys even know how minus 5 degree feel, let alone - 35 degree. AirBay: |

You are right tho but don't be stingy to yourself. My former landlord built two houses in Lagos and immediately he died his two sons sold the houses. They sold one initially lavish the money then come for the second house. While the man was alive he was thinking and working hard for these two clowns. Kaczynski: |

Seems the author is a newbie in North America. He should also tell us how average White Americans or Canadians leave their life! He feels it’s only peculiar to Nigerians. Do you know how many whites are soaked in mortgage, student, wedding and medical debts? with harsh economic realities in North America today, is it blacks that are complaining the most? Hello! To stay ahead of the game legitimately in North America, you will work your asses off. |

gaby:I have said it here times without number that visiting the western world is way different from living in the western world Look at this mumu Nigerian - advising Nigerians abroad to take vacations and sometimes enjoy themselves - IF they yield to your advise, will you: 1. Tell their (liability) relatives back home to stop bothering their lives with excessive demands for money and material things from America? 2. Stop counting the years they have spent overseas by mocking them that they have not built mansions back in Nigeria since they left ? 3. Stop comparing them to others who live abroad that you know nothing about their sources of income ? wether they are into cyber crime or other forms of criminality? 4. Promise not to laugh at them if they visit Nigeria with just one travel box and walk with you in the street and try to behave normally? will you not gossip them that. “chai, after XYZ years abroad- this guy returned empty handed entering keke and okada with us who didnt travel” - this one go mumu for abroad ooo, him no know him way- know your way no be curse, bla bla bla We Nigerians are the cause of all our problems - if you are in America for instance and you can avoid the gathering or meeting of Nigerians - you will live a very happy life - we stress ourselves too much with “unhealthy competition” and thats why a Nigerian sees another Nigerian living above their means and immediately feels compelled to do same or more so people wont laught at him or her, forgetting the race of life is personal - Let me stop here, I believe the wise ones reading my post can make reason of it. |

Sapasenator:Must you lie? ...and make up stories about things you know little about? Duluth, Minnesota is the coldest city in the US and never ever experienced such mountain top temperature. But yet the restaurant was crowded late nite. You obviously have no clue of how cold -5⁰C is not alone -35⁰. |

AirBay:Like I said earlier, he is a newbie and has no idea what it takes to reside in the West. He just visited and reached conclusions without doing a deep dive into the root cause why people work their asses off. He feels it’s only Nigerians. |

You still lie, which part is this, habitable part or inhabitable part. Is because you haven't experienced minus temperature before. If you experience even minus 2, you will understand. Try to get visa and explore so that you can talk from experience. AirBay: |

ogbonti:Continue please. The write-up is sp nice to read. Nigerians live in Nigeria and compete with others abroad. That's why there is panic when the dollar goes up, they console themselves with the fact that they have more dollars than their mates abroad |
