I was served a quit notice buy my landlady. Please I need help, life has been so depression to feed is a big problem. I really need help to get help to pay up my rent and live a free life once again. From what I see, this quit notice is defective. It doesn't specify the anniversary when the tenancy started, and when it ended. Normally, substantive justice is supposed to prevail over technicalities, but in this instance, it's impossible to arrive at substantive justice without fulfilling this one technical ground. You can challenge it on technical grounds if there are no documentary evidence to show the exact date you took possession. If there are, then your challenge will fail.
