CEO runs the company day-to-day
Chairman runs the Board for the shareholders

Take a moment to put aside the issue of "necessity" when it comes to these Tinubu's so-called economic policies. Put it aside for one moment. Imagine for a minute, how catastrophically heartless you have to be, to swing an entire country of over 250 million people, into abject poverty, and still be comfortable with it.

Take a moment to let that soak in. Then ask yourself: that thing that made you push this sea of souls into unspeakable hardship, are you the one who will determine its success? How sure are you that at the end of 20-30 years of sacrifice from these innocent people, your plan will be a success?

How sure are you?

How sure are you that Cardoso and Edun are right?

How sure are you that long after you've left office, along the line, it will not be sabotaged in the midst of one political drama or the other? How sure are you that things will pan out EXACTLY how you planned it?

Because for all of this suffering to make any sense, your plan has to be 90% foolproof at the very least! Anything below that, and even in the grave, Bola Tinubu, you will be as restless as a sailor on a stormy night in May.

Okay. Thanks so much.
I want to also ask. Is CEO and owner of a company the same thing or there is a difference?

The one they've been hiking tariff in secret is not enough. You'll buy recharge of 1000 naira and before you call for few minutes it's all gone.
You're a typical SELFISH, mean-spirited Nigerian. For the others: I wonder how these telecoms companies have been surviving all these years with almost no increase in rates when in only one year most items in the market have increased 3x and dollar over 2 times. They are the only industry that actually provide 24/7 services in this country. This is how the Nigerian government kills anyone daring enough to invest in this failed state.

I have been preparing for this eventuality for months now

Shareholders own the business. CEO runs and manages it. Sometimes the CEO may be the sole shareholder aka one-man business.

Let's give them more time.
If they can't finish it up by 2027, we return them back to finish the job till 2031. He will replicate the magic he did in Lagos

MTN is speaking for the whole industry in this matter. Everyones operating costs have risen and it is no longer sustainable. They have all been dragging this matter in private. They are now taking it public.
I am sure you have noticed that there has been a sharp drop in call quality over the past 6 months.
