No constitution will work if the mentality of individuals who design and implement the constitutions are undeveloped. It's like copying and pasting oyinbo-drafted constitutions and policies and trying to put them into effect with a mindsets that are not completely evolved as humans.

Endemic corruption is what is destroying Nigeria, and it's so because people have failed to develop their humans qualities. It's basically self destruction as a result of profound ignorance. Divide Nigeria into hundred places, and the problems will replicate into hundreds more places

No we are not practicing regionalism. Rather we are operating a powerful centrist system at the detriment of states.

Nigeria is only a federal entity by name only. A true federal system will see to every region or state operating as a seperate soverign with full control of its resources and destiny.

State governors depend largely on federal handouts and have been operating a debt based system since 1999 guaranteed by federal surety.

A scenario where every state excersices total and full control of all the resources located within its borders without recourse to federal meddling is the only solution.

Any one supporting the current system needs their heads examined.

it was not drafted by the people it is not a constitution of the people but of some people. you may be some people but we the people reject that military contraption.

I have said it a few times here that Northerners will resist a new constitution.

Did people notice that a few weeks ago when southerners were screaming 'regionalism', Northern politicians didn't even bother to comment.

That's because any constitutional change will have to go through the Senate and the House of Rep.

Northern representatives are the majority in both Houses. So they'll just wait for Southerners there and vote against any Southern proposal.

The current bad system pays the Northerners. Why will they agree to change it.
