freeman67:I used to think the payments are automated. So apparently someone went on vacation or dealing with personal stuff and these payments have to be postponed. Funny lots. |

freeman67:Is it the government or the agent banks that handle the payment of interest? 🤔 |

I went to the bank physically to submit my bid. I don't know how to buy remotely. Though one of the posts here by emmasoft has explained it. |

Onboard1:With Stanbic? Yes, it's possible to do it remotely. Request for their T-bills bid form (I think you'll also be sent an indemnity form), fill & scan back to them. Then proceed to fund your Stanbic account for the same amount you want to bid with (minimum ₦100k). You may get a phone call from them for verbal confirmation. |

Oshokhai69:It's handled by CSCS. If you have any issues with the payment of interest and you contact your agent bank, broker of financial house; they will inturn contact CSCS about it on your behalf. |

Joyful365:Wait for the naira to stabilize first before you convert. It’s still fluctuating. Dollar investments pay smaller while naira pays higher but you can lose a huge percentage if the naira devalues. |

Good evening guys, Please is secondary market interest not paid upfront like primary market? I sent mail to stanbic customer care to buy 182 days treasury bills. I got a call this morning from them that their bid failed and asked if I would like to buy secondary market. I said okay. This evening, I got two debit alerts, all from my available balance. One was for sage keeping and another for transaction fee. But up to now, they've not credited my interest. Is that how it works for secondary market? |

| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by freeman67: 6:13am On Aug 23, 2024 |
Grupo:So long as you didn't request for reinvestment of interest, you will be credited. Just be patient but if you can't wait, just call them and you will get you response. |
