Tessy686:What are the process of doing it? |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Nobody: 8:39pm On Jul 23, 2024 |
chiswagz:Do your authentication at MOE and MOFA, then on your appointment date submit your documents for verification after 8week -12weeks then you come to pay for your legalization, money for verification depends on what and how many documents you submitting |

Please, I got admission from ISCTE, I have been given 7 days to pay for enrollment but I am confused about the Portugal visa suspension. I also want to legalize my documents. Can I still legalize my documents, did the suspension affect legalization of documents . Do you suggest I pay for enrollment fee |

Eyiteemama:The embassy and VFS will resolve there issue and misunderstanding very soon no need to panic |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Nobody: 10:48am On Jul 31, 2024 |
regizoch:You re on a very long tin because legalization takes 8-12weeks at the embassy and couple with the time you will get appointment for legalization which is very hard at the moment and VFS issue with embassy again, you people always make one mistake applying for admission without legalized documents who does that, because you don't want to waste money for legalization and not been granted admission right but now that most iscte schools resumes by September what you going to do..., is better for you to defer the admission |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by regizoch(m): 2:25pm On Jul 31, 2024 |
BOS8:I will have to defer it… |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by freedomtours(m): 11:12pm On Jul 31, 2024 |
BOS8:Legalization takes 3-6 weeks to be ready if followed up through NUC, I have handled one that took only 3 weeks to be ready for embassylegalisation, it got back to embassy within 3 weeks after submitting to the NUC for verification. If you can work on fastrack appointment date for submission, you will still meet up, alternatively find out if your sch accept notarized copy, just like other schs do then you can do notary public and use it get admission and legalise later, i did it for someone and many did that also, they got admission with it, so find out if your sch will accept it, as most do then you can do that likewise. But make sure you authenticate your certificate first at moe&mofa and the public notary will be on a certify true cope not on the original certificate. The issues between VFS and embassy will be over soon and embassy has been working since then, that is not affecting their operations. |

Bro we dont have issues, i am only trying to encourage any one interested in getting his documents legalize which is possible in record time, the time frame you gave can be reduced to 4 weeks if there is a follow up from NUC thats what i am saying...i am not in any way discrediting what you said. Yes there ways to submit document faster at the embassy, you only say what you know, i do go to embasy often as much as you do, we are not draging anything bro..we have our different links. |

freedomtours:Am not having any issues with you too but what am just saying is there's no point keeping people hopes high is better to let them know how it works so that they can prepare for the worst, because have received and have seen a lot of people at the embassy that do lament that this is not what they saw in social media, so is better to let them that this is how and how it will be and if you re lucky enough so be it |

BOS8:Please I heard the embassy guys in portugal will be going in summer holiday soon. How true is that? |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Judawoo: 2:44pm On Aug 04, 2024 |
Tbexy:hear the same too, but the normally need to make that officially so our passport or application will not hold over there. we have also travel plan. |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Nobody: 9:20pm On Aug 04, 2024 |
Tbexy:Yes and why i said so is because I got an appointment for one of my clients and the appointment was for August 20 but the embassy called her last two weeks and told her the appointment is notw for August 20th so thats I find out but I will know the date when I help rhe person submit her documents on 20th to kniw they will go and resume back |

Hi Guys, I need your guidance please... Pls any update on when VFS will resume applications? What documents do I need to authenticate/legalize, which ones for MOE and MOFA? Thanks. |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by getencored(m): 3:45pm On Aug 19, 2024 |
Ok. Thanks for your response really. Now I sent a mail to my school, and they said they don't require legalization on their part. Now the question is do I still need to do authentication/legalization with MOE or the embassy or its not necessary? BOS8: |
