Originalsly:You are right bro. Cayman Islands is not a place you can hustle except you have your papers complete. Very small country. Like I mentioned earlier, their pay is not competitive despite being a very rich and expensive country to live in. However, their currency is strong and almost equivalent to pounds. Cayman worc visa (work permit) is quite easy to get if you have a local sponsor. Getting the sponsor is the issue. Lol, crazy thing is, you will hardly want to settle in Cayman Islands if you are a hustler. Cayman Islands is designed for the rich, specifically tourists. They don't produce shit. All their revenue comes from tourism and that is why hospitality business thrives there. |

Tired9jaran:Well, I am a skilled guy in a very less-competitive/dangerous (I mean hazardous )industry, The company reached out to me (and showed interest in bringing me to CI) and they did everything about the visa and work permit. I only provided details, documentation etc. So I couldn’t say any amount spent for the work permit, and I think it’s a very strict process due to the demands of documentation and paperwork involved. I hope this answered your queries |

Slimszy:Sorry, I am new to Nairaland, I have never registered I only come here for news and information, until this time that I want to find out about Cayman Island. I have been busy with family stuff, because I have been working oversea (about 3years now in 2different countries), just came to Nigeria for the purpose to moving to cayman. So transit visa applications and documentation has kept me away from Nairaland. Apologies. So I am here now to provide informations to my fellow Nigerians. |

Bybellman:I believe the problem here as stated is your financial statement and it's inconsistency to your outflow. Work on this and reapply. |

Ilabegangan:UPDATE!!! I got to cayman successfully, And I’ve been working for the last 20days plus. It’s good out here, people are nice, genuine company are welcoming and very very helpful to settle in. It is extremely expensive so it will take you few months to get stable, from getting all the English test and medicals done, to getting an apartment, to renting or owning a car (which are very expensive by the way). But all is good right now by God’s grace. |
