immortalcrown:Because southerners are mugus, that's why northern military dictators created too many states (19 +Abuja) in the old Northern region to funnel more of oil revenues from the south to the north; but two southern regions were allowed only 17 states. Since 1999, southern politicians become at the mercy of northern politicians through the too many states and political representatives in northern region led by Fulani. |

Don't be deceived, hate does not bring progress but more and frustration just like u are going through. Constitutionally, they haven't committed any crime by hawking anything,u are the one laying about doing absolutely nothing but hate |

condensedmilk: I heard the oil is located in Ijaw speaking areas. There are very large quantity of gas in Imo state. That's the reason the ruling part always try to win elections at all cost over there. People should be grateful to the oil producing areas for sustaining the country. |

immortalcrown:Southerners are so muguish to the extent of if a Yoruba asks for new states in Yoruba land, an Igbo will say why, after all, the land mass of one state in the north is equivalent to the total landmass of the six SW states. A Yoruba will also tell such to an Igbo asking for more states in the SE. All time mugus don't understand that land mass or population figures are not criteria for creating new federating units in a country formed by different regions. These mugus don't understand that there should have been equal number of states between the three regions that formed Nigeria in 1960. |

PureFace1: Those hawking gala are self employed, same with those that have small shops. There are countries smaller than south eastern region doing great. If you think south east is not viable to the country, let them go peaceful without being agitated. |

immortalcrown:There are several factors which might contributed to the space between delta and some of the southern states like lack of pipeline vandalism and I think some of the oil wells of akwa ibom were ceded to fed. But I think vandalism and oil bunkering is the major issue here. |

bobby007:It’s not a weak defense abeg Of what good is the oil in a state is the indegenes of the state cannot even afford the petroleum products? They will ship off all the petrol to Lagos or francophone countries surrounding Nigeria After all is not like osun people can even afford cars sef, they don’t need the fuel… They ride bicycles there🤣 |

RepoMan007:Very good but why pipe gas from Imo State to Ogun and Lagos instead of simply using that of Ondo? We keep deceiving ourselves for nothing. While oil serves no good to the owners , Southeast and South-south hold majority of Nigeria's onshore oil and in this Ijaw or riverine area holds 99% of all offshore including the ones off Ondo State and Edo State. Imagine if 50% of revenue from Ijaw area is given to Ijaws how wealthy they should be. |

If you take your eyes off the crude oil and condensate column and look at gas and take a look at the columns for Imo, Anambra and Abia States, you will know where the future lies. The future lies in gas and those States need to go into gas processing for industrial/ electricity generation and domestic use because it is cheaper,.more sought after and cleaner source of energy |
