That's not selling, that's identifying with someone who has got their backs for the past 20 years. But instead, the usual poor mentality and poverty took over them as expected, selling their votes for immediate gain, cash. Smart people

Just as that maduka Dr gentleman from the US that wanted to serve his people after years of providing for them, from hospitals to houses, roads, stippends to widows, scholarships etc, yet they rejected him for other misfits. Kukuma leave them to their misery and focus on family.

I don't know why poor communities usually fail to identify with people who have got their backs for many years when such people need their support to represent them and their interests with the government, knowing fully well that such people have committed to their wellbeing for many years. They would simply go for candidates that they can't point to anything tangible such candidates did for them in their trying times. Who wouldn't feel disappointed?

I still don't think people should engage in charities with the hope of getting repaid in any form later in the future.
I know many people voted for him in the constituency, but not just enough to win the election. He only disappointed his supporters in the area and ended up losing the little goodwill he has.
If the winner plays his game well, this loser's political career officially over.

I don't think he's coming back anyway knowing fully well the kind of people he had been with and helped for over 20 years. I only hope that the one they sold their votes to really remembers them and their needs because they have made their choice
