Blogs don't have offices? They don't produce any original research. They merely scour the net looking for irrelevant things to post. That's a blog. And not a very reputable one either.

The list is not accurate. Infrastructure is not only roads but also schools, hospitals, markets, recreational parks, access to sanitation like clean water and flush toilets and security. The list should be full of Hausa/fulani states without a doubt.
You refused to travel around the country to see things yourself, only to believe in media thereby embarrassing yourself in the public platform.

This kind of media-hypotenised fellow will not know that there are schools in the north, that each state in the north has specific but special products they are known for as their main resources and source of revenue for their development, he will even think all Hausa Fulani are Muslims or are the only tribe in the north.

All the towns in the north are well developed with a moderate level of infrastructure and hence absent from the list.

You would have believed if the research were carried out by tribalised TV stations like Arise TV or channels.

The stats get k leg, which I infrastructure are they talking about that the other states have that Rivers and Lagos doesn't?
How many people are using the infrastructure per unit time or space is the index of rating.
If I can move 30km distance in Kano within 5 mins and it takes someone in Lagos 15 mins to cover same, it means Kano is more infrastructured than Lagos by road network.

Why Imo? After all, Imo state capital is okay. I think it's because Successive state govs from Orlu zone swore that only the Owerri state capital alone should be okay.
The present governor even removes govt infrastructures in Orlu and returning them to Owerri.
Ironically, Orlu is about seven kilometres from his Oru hometown.

What is the use of having something which is overstretched by over population. It will now feel as if nothing is there in the beginning 🤣

I would rather say when government refuse to diversify, leaving everything to be centered in Lagos without building things ( infrastructure) to match the soaring population, it will feel as if there were no infrastructure. So it is equal to zero infrastructure. No viable transport system, ( Lagos traffic jam has no equal match throughout the federation) no good sewage drainage system, no good drinking water, no clean air, name them. I was not surprised to see Lagos in the list.

If I can move 30km distance in Kano within 5 mins and it takes someone in Lagos 15 mins to cover same, it means Kano is more infrastructured than Lagos by road network.
I disagree. Ease of movement is a measure of congestion & convenience and not infrastructure. Lagos has roads all over and same as FCT.

Also, infrastructure is not only about roads, but includes other developed transport systems like rail, waterways, airports, then modern buildings, shopping centres and basically facilities that raise the general standard of living.

I've been to Niger State Minna for example. The roads are even bad for the most part. It does not have several of the facilities that connote standard infrastructure. Maybe only one or 2 standard hotels.

Pray tell, how does Niger State's most developed town have better infrastructure than FCT and Lagos according to this report? It does not make correlation sense at all.

Even to say Ekiti has better infrastructure than Oyo is laughable. And why would expatriates be staying in areas with the least infrastructure?Another inconsistency.

The report looks more like a list for the 10 best states with infrastructure in Nigeria even though our infrastructural standards is generally poor across all the states.

You are not well travelled.
I used to be like you.
The so much underrated north you talk about, has one of the best road network in Nigeria.
They generate most of their electricity in minna and son taraba state.
They have some of the best Federal hospitals in Nigeria, from ABUTH,JUTH,BKUTH,BUTH,BSUTH,UDUTH,Turkish hospital, national eye centre, federal neuro-psychiatric hospitals, national orthopedic hospitals apart from the fact that almost all the state now has a federal medical centres.
Plateau state, has the second largest urban national wild life park. The yakari game reserve in bauchi is the largest in west Africa, the jos zoo and national monuments, etc.
The burned jos terminus market, was one of the largest in West Africa.
The north is the food basket of the nation, from Benue, plateau, Kaduna, kebbi, kano etc food is not a problem.
The major problem of the north is insecurity.
The north values religious knowledge over others, then western education, but then, they need the western education.
Their major problem is insecurity(but has sufficient food security),religious fanaticism and insufficient western education(but they are now coming up in this regard).
They has one of the best infrastructures when it comes to schools and market.
