Oando hasn’t been the same since the acquisition of ConocoPhillips. That transaction almost wrecked Oando. This Agip deal might just be the final nail on the coffin for Oando.
Then why are you crying more than the bereaved? Shouldn’t Oando be the one crying?

Agip and Unipetrol (Oando) dated back to 2001. They both gather dey then.

So if they are acquiring Agip again, it’s brother to brother. I no come know wetin dey pain you guys in this.

How I wish Tinubu can actually use Nigeria money for Oando. If Buhari can do it for Dangote, Jonathan do it for the ND oil tycoons, why can’t Tinubu do same?

Make baba first grant am access to forex at 700 to $1 make the rest dey buy am $1 to 1500, make we first know wetin dey sup.

Oga, that loan is a way to cover up a theft process.

How did Oando get collateral for such a magnitude loan. Considering their status before Tinubu came in.

Do you think Oando will not seamlessly repay the termed loan via indirect and underneath inflows from the FG (that is Cardoso and Finance minister combo etc). Just like Dangote was aided under Buhari. . Oando is now the the flagship oil brand to the govt.

As long as Tinubu is in power, the loan repayment will not affect the liquidity of the company.

You think we are fools ba. . ?

It's a blueprint, and in phases, they are rolling out a lot of things in the oil and gas tru Oando and it will be fast now bcoz of the pressure coming from Dangote and his cohorts.
The assets/reserves of the company being acquired will be the collateral and the cashflow from the sale of the acquired company’s crude oil will be used to service the loan. This is normal industry practice na.

I can’t take seriously a dull person that doesn’t know the difference between Agip downstream and Agip upstream.

You smoked grass when typing this rubbish. Oando crashed following the Conoco Philips acquisition because of the dollar denominator loans they took, moreso they sold off their downstream to Vittol energy and it was renamed OVH. How is it possible that a company saddled with debts that are dollar denominator and had shares suspended from the stock exchange would now in one year control NNPC retail and also still acquire Agip where did the funding come from?
Very valid observation! I held their shares since 2007, had to sell of what was left off it by 2022. It was disappointing and I was told the company was on the verge of bankruptcy, just to come and start hearing American wonder. Somethings are not just adding up.

The Don Dada of Corruption...

Tinubu is the worst thing that could happen to Nigeria.

Inspired by the worst kind of poverty mindset, he always steals till the last penny.

He wants it all.

He has milked Lagos for all it's worth for over 20 years.

With the economy in shambles, his brilliant idea as a president was to find a way to siphon scarce resources by awarding an uncontested and unprecedented $13 billion road project to his longtime partner in crime.

With his gaze now firmly set on Nigeria's oil resources, and armed with his insatiable appetite for filthy lucre, The Don Dada of Corruption is poised to execute the greatest heist in modern history.

As a matter of urgency, Tinubu must be stopped soon by greater forces before he puts the entire country in his diabolic agbada and appoints his daughter the Iyaloja of Oil and Gas.

The financials of Oando dated Dec., 2023 (Q4) stated a gross revenue of #1.05 trillion (USD = 637million).

Loss: #30 billion .

How on earth can any bank grant such an organization a loan that is even bigger than their entire income within a fiscal year. Since you are talking about cash flow analysis here.

The entire worth of Oando is not up to N2 trillion. So which collateral from them are you indexing to about $750m subject loan.

Sir, we are not lay men here.

Don't let us open the books further.

Massive Congratulations to Oando Plc!

This is another milestone after the 2014 acquisition of ConocoPhillips during the locust years of PDP.

Many ignorant people like OP don't know this is not the first major deal by Oando Plc, they don't know that it's a company that belongs to every Dick, Tom and Harry who can buy its Oando shares on NSE and JSE currently selling cheap at N43.50 per share. Oando shares that you can buy first thing tomorrow even if it's as low as N5k worth!! You are here swimming in ignorance that it's a Tinubu company. Smh.

These loud, uncouth, criminal defamers are mostly ignorant people who don't even know that the Nigerian Presidency has nothing to do with Oando and that OVH is not even owned by Oando Plc. Smh.

May this time bring the company and its shareholders great and bountiful rewards.

Shareholders of Oando had gone through thick and thin with huge debt after their company share price crashed owing to oil price crash immediately after the ConocoPhillips deal, so bad that they have not recieved dividends for almost a decade! Thank you Oando Plc shareholders for not giving up.

May God continue to bless Oando and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Even though I was in support of Tinubu and low key don’t care about anything cos it’s Yoruba’s turn. This write up doesn’t in any way defend Tinubu. Oando belongs to Tinubu and Obasanjo as at 2014. All is see is thieving lying deception. Your write doesn’t change any fact.

They probably made shareholders believe the company was in crisis so their shares would be sold to the Cabals of the company.

Now the Cabals have more control of the company and have kicked you and several millions of common-men.

Suddenly they are stronger than those that even innitially aquired them.

He should continue amassing and siphoning off every penny that belongs to Nigeria, just as he did with Lagos state funds like a kleptomaniac lunatic he is while Nigerians plunge deeper into poverty. People like Tinubu often will never end well due to unsatiable greed....their lives becoming cautionary tales.
His greed knows no bounds and he is driven by a zero-sum mentality. A criminal scheme is always easy to detect and filled with flaws. The only ones defending this blatant theft and day light robbery are paid agents, deployed across social media to spin narratives and silence any reasonable voices

What oando is pulling should be among the list of wonders of the world..

From austerity and struggling to acquisitions upon acquisitions all in less than 2 years..🤔🤔

They even bought over the NNPC retail that acquired them in 2022.. NNPC retail had up to 550 stations across the country as at the time it acquired all the less than 100 Oando Stations across the country.. Today due to some government-influenced manoeuvre, Oando has taken over all those 550 stations from NNPC.. if that is not 'american wonder' as said in local parlance, I wonder what else is..

It used to be a thing of joke that one day, one politician would sell Nigeria and put the money in his pocket and walk away.. it's happening before our very eyes..
You are an illiterate.
NNPC acquired OVH and owned it 💯. I hope you even understand that. Stop commenting in public forum.

OandO will soon buy up all upstream and downstream Assets in Nigeria.

Acquired NNPC retail and now these all in one year.

The same company was ridden in debt, regulatory issues. It's stock was suspended from been traded on the exchange just less than 3 years ago. But now... Bigoted Nigerians must learn

If you hate Oando so much because you hate President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and want to kill the business owned by Nigerians from all works of life so you will reap too!
Ignorance mixed with criminal defamation and mischief is bliss to you but not to some of us. You will all keep losing because your agenda is always full of lies and evil.

Dismantle a bigger, better and more profitable NNPCL company after it bought and now owned a competitor and from such acquisition, NNPCL gets profitable returns to the government? Smh
Hatehuh Did you actually read what I wrote, or are you so opinionated that you can’t take the time to read and understand what someone else has to say? If we are gullible and ignorant as you stated, the president should be intelligent and knowledgeable enough to have solutions to Nigeria’s problems. Instead, the problems have become increasingly worse.
