The question was why the account was not mentioned in the code of conduct form. However, it was opened and saved for his children and was no longer his money.

Lodging money in a bank is not investing in family business. Peter Obi also put money in other banks. He has been banking with Fidelity long before he became a major shareholder. It is a trusted bank to him. He just happens to be a major shareholder there.

As for the Brewery, it was a State investment that is still paying the State return to date. If all politiciansl made investments that still pays a large chunk to the States, this company will not be where it is.

There was no money stolen. It happened only once and was clarified.

A government house aide was moving with a Bullion van and was arrested with N250 million found in it.

After an open investigation carried out by the police and the Anambra house of assembly with a majority of opposition, it was realized with was not stolen money.

The traditional rulers wanted to carry out a contract in the State and contributed for the project. They wanted to use a person they trusted with the money and will deliver the project. They chose Peter Obi's aide and he was undergoing the task when he was arrested. He was totally cleared.

The real story is that Peter Obi paid the government contractor 250 million Naira by cheque for the supply of cars. The contractor cashed the money is at Awka and asked the Governor if he could tranfer the money to his base in Lagos in one of the cars in the Governors convoy for security reasons

The money was intercepted in Lagos by security agents and was investigated by the Police, EFCC and the Anambra State House Of Assembly. No wrong doing was found and the money released back to Obi and the contractor

This was a simple matter of a car dealer who wanted to deal in cash rather than cheque. Car dealers are notorious for only wanting to deal in cash, rarely do they touch cheque payments
