You people are missing something, is this not the road that lead to Obasanjo's hilltop mansion, farm and his bells university. The only palliative work done sometimes ago on some section was by pastor Oyedepo. Obasanjo didn't construct roads in south west and some people from a section of the country always boasting of voted for him. Lagos Ibadan was so bad under is tenure, until Jonathan and Buhari intervention. Benin ore was a nightmare, until also Jonathan fix it. This are some of the many reasons the Yorubas don't rate him high as a performer but our brothers from across the niger says otherwise.

The Governor is not serious. It took him 5 years in office to remember the road, after many souls have been lost.

The road has been in a terrible state since the early 2000s. Successive federal administrations have promised to do something about it, but nothing has been done (it is a federal road).

The Ogun State Government applied to take over the road during the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. They said that they would partner with the Lagos State Government to fix it. Approval was eventually granted and work has now commenced.

That Road is a federal road and can't be done without approval from Fg. He has called out Fg under Buhari overtime to handover the road to the state but no response.

If Dapo Abiodun starts and completes this federal road, I will renounce my citizenship of this country. In fact, I will publicly tear my passport. Person wey never complete Alagbole-Akute road project which is State-owned. A project that was started by Amosun o! Na federal road he dey dabble into just to chase clout.

Good effort by the Governor. I hope he can complete the road as per the timeline promised as this will give his administration many accolades from the citizens.
The Lagos state end of that Expressway (From Alagbado to Abule Egba, Ahmadiyya, Meiran, Alakuko, to Sango Otta) is a very big eye sore and prone to flooding. I was in that Area in April 2024 and it was not pleasant to behold and experience travelling through there. I hope the Lagos State Government will keep their own promises about reconstructing the Expressway.

Those roads are you horrible especially from Abule Egba to sango, from ijaye onwards is an eyesore. Meanwhile when there's heavy traffic and commuters try to pass one way, police is arresting only private drivers not commercial drivers... If u dey drive Honda no near those road lol
