I disagree. One option must be available(either wife or children). But that is not my issue. My main concern is, ur wife will always be the one to do the care-giver duties in your old age. The children might be sending money but ur wife will do the house chores.
So if you have only children and disregard your wife, its not advisable because your children will always go their separate ways.

U are logically right because even presently in my area an old woman died all because all her grown up children left for marriages and other stuff and couldn't even take care of her during old age.


Old age care depends and ur child is not a passport that u will have a proper care then .

Marriage is the best thing that happened to me after salvation.

Seeing my wife cook for me, wash my clothes, ask me what I want to eat, take good care of me and telling my children to kneel and greet me, telling me to kiss our baby. This life is beautiful.

As in majority of Nigerians are stupid..... That space is what they don't do..... They go dy born as if they go die soon..... Spacing kids gives you breathing space and enough savings

Bros when you write it like that, it sounds like slavery. I pray you have help for your wife. If you ever take her abroad, you will swear that she is a devil. The reason will be that all of these responsibilities you are putting on her, is causing her to suffer. Please lighten her load immediately before you lose your marriage.
