Any man who is not killed, directly or indirectly, by a woman, will defy death even if a 90T bulldozer runs him over. He can only die at a ripe old age.

Bro, it's actually not. Ours is actually better... if you actually want your children to learn anything. Who no go no go know. These people don't teach kids anything in school. They just play and color and have a good time and play with tab. It's quite maddening! They hardly hold pen to write anything, the hand writing terrible, attention span zero! No discipline, highly entitled, see I no fit talk abeg. Living in abroad but your children still doing online lessons from Nigeria because they don't learn much here..

Don't just argue for arguments sake, we were sold a big lie!
Lol I know both worlds believe me. I know feedback I get from students over there (Masters and Undergraduate) how most struggle to keep up unlike their foreign counterparts.

I've been in Nigerian education system and I know how we try to inculcate British curriculum in our normal Nigeria Syllabus so our students don't struggle on international standards since most end up going there. Do you think learning is about 8-6 class you all make kids go through here?

Even now that I have left that field, I have access to raw undiluted feedbacks from Nigerian students overseas on their struggles and challenges to keep up with some academic demands.

Ask the guy you are trying so hard to defend if a pharmacist from Nigeria can function over there without going through some courses and training spanning a year or even more. Or if a Pharmacy university graduate can further directly without almost starting all over.

You are telling me not to argue for argument sake, you are very funny. grin grin cheesy Some of you will just type like you know everything about the person on the other end of the phone. Sold a lie indeed.

The only thing that matters to me is my 85 years old Mom.
Even if it cost me 20 years to see Nigeria again I will gladly do so even if it's 30 years ahead.

Family will be ok when you send money, but that relationship ends with you. Your children may never step foot into their father’s land.
Your great grandchildren won’t even know their root.

The writer made it seem like this wave is the biggest ever in the history of Nigeria. Well, maybe it is

I just the checked the population Emigration index(World Migration Report)using the U.N data report as the reference and i saw that Nigeria isnt even among the top15 and when u consider the percentage leaving the country, its less than 5% in Nigeria.

Whatever the fear of this writer is, like eroding Cultural identity and "dismantling" Family cohesion are a personal thing thats should be addressed as a family unit and do not pose any threat to us as a people on a larger scale

Writer used some scanty and hard-to-verify instances of his friends to arrive at this conclusion and that renders the whole write-up a fallacy and baseless fear
President Tinubu, was the writer comparing the migration in Nigeria versus the migration in Africa and in other parts of the world?
Your statistics is at best for another topic, President Tinubu.

Exactly! Every Naigerian seem to believe that ,"japa" is the solution rather than confronting their government on the "bad" situations in their country.
Nigeria is irredeemable, while some are fighting for it to get better, others are sabotaging the effort for a slice of bread.

it has gotten to the stage of fighting for ones self - Ja fun ori e

The writer captured it aptly.
The Nigerian family system is being uprooted from Nigeria.

There is no need arguing with people like you who feed on second hand knowledge and think they know it all. What feedback from msc students? Did I not do their msc last year? It was greatly underwhelming and aside the fact that it is heavily computer and online based, nothing to it. Abi are my children not currently in their schools? I am giving you first hand, real time feedback and you are here writing long epistle based on something you have personally not experienced. Mr man, sit there and be arguing with yourself. I have left the table.
