A Valuable Job Lesson To Learn From Osimhen-napoli Saga by EmekaStanley(op): 3:42pm On Aug 31, 2024
Before you sign any contract or offer letter from any employer, please go through it thoroughly.

Napoli literally exiled Victor Osimhen from both the first team and the second team, and will be handing his No. 9 shirt to Lukaku.

This is a player who was instrumental to Napoli’s glorious triumph 2 seasons ago.

If you have not thought about it, then you need to, especially as it concerns employer-employee relationship.

Most employers don't actually care about what you have achieved for/with them in the past.

And be careful when the ovation high so you don't commit yourself into what will become a legal imbroglio. Always leave avenue for quitting, without too many clauses.

Know when to leave, because wisdom is profitable to direct.

Who can trust a man who said he recorded his private conversations with his coach as evidence . Character is everything. People have had disagreements with their team ,club and coaches… but there is always a limit to what you say and do. One bad egg will ruin a whole team spirit .

Osimhen saga is a lesson to all. One should always know when to leave at every point in tme .

Signing a new deal with Napoli recently was a big mess and mistake he made

Someone that should have left Naples last season when he was on free transfer,,he decided to renew his contract which later backfired...
They would have valued him more if he had left last season..

Should have left after winning the scudeto. At that point, the ovation was highest. Would have really cashed big time.

He should also sack his agent asap.

If oshimen was born in Europe and plays for an European National team, he won't be in this mess

The present Napoli coach did similar stuff to Mikel.

Europe will take care of their top players even if they are blacks.

Oshimen is African, so they don't care

When shove comes to push you will be shocked as this Victor is now.
Everybody regardless of your impact to any organisation you are hired into its what it is, you are dispensable.

Osimhen did nothing wrong by making that private recording.

I also think Osimhen had some attitude issues.

Could be a contributing factor

Yes, the deal was a trap, especially when he noticed that the relationship was going bad

it takes a lot of effort, personal dedication and quality associations to refine some one who have been in the street all his life struggling to survive on his own, there is that tendency to be aggressive and look at everything as a confrontation.
There is no doubt a great attitudinal issues there. Imagine this is happening to an African best award holder, is a big slap … but I am sure everything is a phase

No, Oshimeh attitude isnt a problem

His attitude is a wining mentality

What we have is the club and coach not respecting him.

majority of footballers are from the streets

Messi, ronaldo neymar and co were all from the streets

Football is not a gentleman game

You need to be aggressive not only in the field but also out of the field

In africa been aggressive means you are proud or stubborn, in Europe, it means passion

Oshimen has the mentality of the game but the clubs are trying to do him dirty.

Could also be greedy agents asking for too much

There is no loyalty in football, its a trade. When you are in top form, your club values you with playing time.
When you are out of fitness, the club will replace you. Osimehin was just looking to improve himself and looking for a better prospect.

No matter how the transfer events turns out, atleast he trying to make progress. Football is a trade

stop comparing balotelli attiude with oshimen's attitude

they are different

balotelli do not care about football and was always in the press for the wrong reasons

Victor had reasonable offers but wanted a killer wage. The type that made lukaku not want to run at chelsea. He should go and do drugs if he wants €11m

Good fools. How many players have you see that become successful with pride? Victor knows he's career is gone if he never renewed his contract cos no sane club will come for him. H3 isn't rudiger or Ronaldo. He's just a kid starting out but being controlled by ego and pride. You all forget how odewige career died after forcing a move to Wigan and was chased out by same people calling him.

Your loyalty to your employer is a good attitude that have reward

I'm not a football fan but I'm interested in understanding the lesson here.

When it comes to football I only read some headlines that are catchy. I've read about a top club having interest in him then later heard about him moving to a club that sounds like a Saudi club.

What really happened to him? How did his club do him dirty?
Can someone help?

Thanks.
