CoronaVirusPro:35 year olds seeking admission can cheat and buy their ways through too. It's not about the age, dumb fool. If FG approves 16 years as unrestricted Employment age..10 years for Secondary School admittance. You must be daft to think it's right for the same FG to state that 16 years is too young to be in University, a controlled environment. Stop attacking people with your stupidity. |

CoronaVirusPro:Dumbo! Like I said, if you are daft, don't think everyone is. I went to about the best primary school in the City I grew up. It was church owned too, so not sure what bribery you are talking about? I had 566 in common entrance in year 99/00. Went on to be best in my class for most of my time in an FGC. Then went on to study a prestigious course in one of the top Universities in the Country. ...so what the fook are you on about? If your dreams are small don't think same for everyone else. |

HBB1:Your statement is same with what every pro long jumper states. They will always tell you how brilliant that child is without telling us about the long jumps ! Can’t you see the quality of graduates the country is churning out? It’s due to the supposed brilliant student that had sponsored long jumps. |

CoronaVirusPro:Same quality of graduates that go aborad and shine? Same quality that are getting first classes and distinctions? If you no sabi book oga, no be everybody dull like you. So park well abeg! |

Digmygold:18 is a valid age. It will curb all the long jumps. The child is fully matured to make and take decisions. Just attend the next common entrance examination and go see what happens there! All those parents are on Nairaland telling you 18 yrs is too much. Y’all acting like you don’t know what plays out in the country now. It plays in Every school. You can pay the school and your child will take common entrance from primary 4. Everything is money now! It’s like a competition between families. They keep spending high to facilitate long jumps, and they will always tell you their child is brilliant. I doubt if we still have full students in the country, probably the kids of poor people. |

HBB1:Let’s imagine I am dull, I still passed through the system and diligently earned everything I got. I graduated with a 2:1 and happen to have worked with 4 multinational companies in 3 different continents. If that’s the definition of dullness, then I am dull. Pro long jumpers like you are just angry I am spelling it out clear. Let the kids breathe and have fun. Stop pushing them to where they not even comfortable with, but have no say. |

CoronaVirusPro:Cramming your notes with little lateral thinking does not make your smart. You are dull, simple! I don't care how many companies your worked with. Being a graduate is not the final destination. It is just a phase. If you are smart enough, and can get it done with quickly, why not? There are more things to do with life that dragging one's feet over admission. Those that got into Uni at 18 or 20, are they doing better in life now? Ogbeni, park well! |

HBB1:Call a spade a spade! If you can pay your way through, you will finish school faster! Why are you trying hard to deny the obvious. Long jumps has been normalized and not even a big deal! Why are you acting like you don’t know the norm? Oh! You reside in Australia? |

CoronaVirusPro:18 years is indeed too much because some of them are going to take the exams multiple times before making their papers. ASUU is going to go on strike multiple times and some are going to take LENGTHY courses such as Medicine and Law which will run for several years and by the time they are done, they won't be able to get gainful employment because of their ages. It's a retrogressive policy. The Minister should be fired. He does not mean well for our Education System. Children are intellectually stimulated and have the capacity to learn and comprehend. The World is evolving and you can't expect maintenance of status quo when it comes to learning. If I enrolled my child at 10 in Secondary School according to FG"s directive and my child is going to be 16 in SS3 how have i erred? Fresh out of the curriculum is the best time to write these Examinations not after waiting for 2 years. The Minister himself finished school at 30. He must be a very slow learner himself so is he attempting to cast his misfortune of having a low mental capacity on these thriving children? How can a Minister of Education be more interested in having more children out of school than in school? That's absurd and shady. He should focus more on the millions of children on the streets in the North who are not in school and the infrastructural decay where children sit on the floor in classrooms. He is Minister of Education not Minster Of UNIVERSITY. |

CoronaVirusPro:Long jump is all you keep howling like a dog with mental issues. I can be 40 and still pay my way through. Examination malpractice is not age restrictive. You sound stupid. The FG approves 10 years minimum as Secondary School Entry Age, so if a child will be 16 in SS3, what have they done wrong? Universities abroad take our children in from here at 16 because they know they are mentally and emotionally capable. These children do exceptionally well. Universities in Nigeria set entry age at 16 because they know they are mentally and emotionally ready The Minister himself finished school at 30 so he is desperate to foist his frustration of being a dull brain on our thriving youth. So quit the bark and focus on improving the learning capacity of your dull children. |

mhmsadyq:Grandpa Oloyede I see your level of desperation at bringing other people's children down is alarming. Those children of yours will be ruined in all spheres of their useless lives beyond redemption. Your grandchildren and great grandchildren and their children too. |

Digmygold:I believe your curses are the real symptoms of frustration. Where are your curses when others at 70 are still making decisions that affect your cursed generation including your father that is tired at 70. If you continue like this you might not get to 70 not to talk of tired like you father while we are active making decisions. |

mhmsadyq:"We are active". Oh the actual Mr Septuagenarian may thunder fire you and your entire cursed generation where not one will hit 60 after you. Even you at 70 no go die better. Chronologically and mentally declined old fool still hustling for Government Money at 70. Your own entire life don spoil. No wonder you are so bitter when you see our thriving youth. Mortuary is near. I hope your useless children are ready to bury your rotten body after your sudden death "in active service" Bitter Ancestor Methuselah. We go flog that your empty fossil head for Court. |

mhmsadyq:Same faceless media you are hiding your wrinkled face and dead brain behind? You must be mad, sadistic ancestor. Get your wrinkled face fixed and face your demented children who are cursed for eternity. Just as you plot on ruining the lives of other people's children, your children's lives will be ruined beyond redemption before your very eyes. |
