Looks more like an inside job. They don't look well trained, but they depend more on intelligence from a high clearance channel and numbers because the Nigeria Government don't like killing enmass ... channel of communication in the security circle need to be audited .. |

What a joke of a country. Nigeria intelligence is zero. In an open field yet they could not figure out the location. This is another shekau in the making. |

SadiqBabaSani:Exactly, someone said they do not fear death but thousands must have been killed by them. After arrest, instead of instant killing without trial, government will be considering amnesty international out cry and then put them at kuje prison before another jail brake. How our people do things in Nigeria baffled someone sha. |

Information leak is a primary cause of the issue we facing with this terrorist. When a terrorist like this guy have lasted too long, it can only point to information leak. This isn't necessarily intelligence leak, because information leak can casually be setting up forward operating base in certain locations. And a department staff within operations office can just casual discuss it. The terrorist can then easily use coordinates to deduce they are the ones in focus. And then readjust to terrains when they can't be ambushed and have dense cover from aerial attacks. |

Also the forest areas are a bit dense, meaning bush warfare is what s required and from the last time I checked our military doctrines didn't accommodate jungle or forest combat. The emphasis came into light recently after when the level of kidnapping surged. I don't know if they took the joint training program with Indonesia seriously, since Indonesia have the best jungle warfare strategy. Our super tacono that can deliver a deadly blow is been used economically because the type of battle it can be used for is been prioritized. Trainings on the use of the attack helicopter is also taking time. Because sometimes the funding needed to follow a dedicated time table isn't readily available. The byraktar we acquired from Turkey cost a lot to drop its missiles, since they will be more effective against a conventional army that have tanks. So the myriads of challenges is big and list is long. Special forces for a long time where tailored for joint terrain such as swamp and land, technically the Niger delta. Now the special forces are not as thorough as we think they are. They are the solution to this bandits challenges |

strangest:Another obidient on the Loose again. This is not new. Even the Almighty America was threatened by Alqeada and Osama before America destroyed them at the end. So continue to support bandits against your country. If you know what is playing on Nigeria, you will.be shocked. Some of you are making the country to be ungovernable thinking that by doing so will make Obi or Atiku or Obi to win the next election. That's why all of you are suffering now. Obi will never ne president. That's for sure and Atiku is not an option. BAT will complete his 8 years. |

Tinubu is just ruling and presiding over Abuja and some parts of Southern Nigeria...! Northen Nigeria, at least most parts of it, is firmly under the rule and command of nomadic terrorists, from across the desert! Many of you are just choosing to gloss over this stark reality. It's obvious Buhari started the handover of the North to his brothers from Niger and Chad. What I find shocking yet amusing is how Tinubu chose to adopt the Ostrich approach of burying his head in the sand while nomads carve out a Republic within the same nation he is presiding over. |

Be informed the total area that can be classified as a jungle in the 50 states of USA is almost 5x than the mere 373,000 square miles Nigeria occupies. Do you have any idea how big the whole USA actually is? Solseal007: |

Most of these bandits already know how to push Nigerians’ mumu button & due to the fact that nothing sells/travels faster than bad news, they’ll keep pushing out videos & audios to social media denigrating the army & the C-in-C; if dem born Turji & his likes well, they should stop terrorizing, killing & kidnapping innocent & defenseless Nigerians. They should instead engage the Nigerian Armed Forces in a guérilla or assymetric warfare (whichever one they prefer) & see what the outcome will be; not scared of dying but you’re in constant hiding only coming out to terrorize defenseless citizens. |

Dapromzy333:In situations like these, when someone in such a position releases a video, it can indeed be interpreted as a sign that they are feeling the pressure. Often, when a group or leader under military pressure feels their position weakening, they might release statements or videos to either rally support, attempt psychological warfare, or to show defiance in the face of incoming defeat. In some cases, it could also be a tactic to negotiate or buy more time. The timing of this video can indeed indicate that the military’s efforts are making an impact. This is the time for Nigeria Army to keep up the pressure on him. |

Krankhead:How can a nation be made ungovernable if the Commander in chief refuses to allow it?!! You accuse others of trying to frustrate the leadership of the one you support, but can't pause to wonder why the person in charge of the entire nation's security architecture permits such nonsense. How many world leaders do you hear uttering such nonsense and unacceptable excuse?!! Why couldn't they make the nation ungovernable for Obasanjo and Yar'adua... Even under clueless Jonathan, it wasn't this bad! |
