Thank you for hitting home the truth. 90% of elections in Nigeria are decided by local factors esp in rich,educated, independent,liberal thinking states which are mostly in the south. Only few states which are poor and dependent on Abj allow national matters to affect their polls...

For Edo, what will decide is the performance of the incumbent,track records of the candidates,strength of the parties,directions of politicians etc..The state of the country will only play a minor role.same thing happened in 2020,2016,2012 etc cc engineerboat

From what I saw in akoko edo yesterday, I think the apc will win akoko edo.

Ososo, ibilo and igarra were locked down yesterday. The margin will not be much though.

I feel so too but why judging from the crowd?.Apc used to win Akoko with a heavy margin until 2020. It seems many are angry at Etsako dominance of politics in Edo north. Omobayo is desperately trying to to win votes for pdp there alongside Yisa Braimoh but with the amount of bigwigs APC parade,they should win well here.
They need a healthy win in case Benin delivers heavily for PDP

True,Adjoto was a big loss,a very rugged and dangerous force like shuaibu. His polling unit usually produces 2000 votes for any party.i wonder how Akpatason won him.He should get the ticket in 2027,Peter should follow Prof Julius and rest.i see him as the third biggest politician in the north though Abu millionaire is also a force...with his return alongside Hon Fred Attah.otunba Balogun,it should be enough though we lost Hon Agbaje and one strong youth leader

You are d fool. Most of the politicians rotate from Pdp to Apga to LP - APC - PDP and finally back to APC. When you presented a failure like last election, the good ones among them but Nigerians didn't see them but prefer to follow failure like Tinubu, Atiku and Obi. All of them are the same but Nigeria need new look and new people that just join a new political party that does not have old politicians
