Advantages Nigeria has over Cameroon:

1) Bigger market

2) Variety in several brands and options

3) Variety of eatable foods and better home cooking

4)Bigger, better money market eg stocks, bonds, Treasury bills, fixed deposit

5) Many financial apps to solve different problems

6) More African food spices and ingredients

7) More popular eg in Entertainment etc

8 ) That Nigerian people's feeling and being with people of familiar backgrounds

But u can be in Cameroon and still gain from Nigeria especially when u have linked NINS, BVNs, Sim cards, web links, bank apps, in touch with your bankers and stock brokers via email etc

However:

1) Electric meters are VERY expensive.... Why discriminate with band levels, does it mean only rich people live in areas with such bands?

2) Food is expensive ( food is cheaper in Benin Republic if u buy in bags eg 1/4, 1/2, full bags.... Cameroon even cheaper with my beloved glass cup( lol)

3) Insecurity

Note that in Cameroon their National ID card is IMPORTANT to them due to security measures, the equivalent is RP. So, your National ID Card too is important.

U can send and receive easily Western Union and the offices are in several places with NIN Card, RP, International passport.

Food for thought:

They 'envy' us that we have choice of democracy to choose our leaders but my people pray and fast tooooo much but won't do the right thing including voting rightly and later begin to gnash their teeth even more than those who we look at as not having the choice to choose their leaders(lol).

They feel bobo is too old, but SEBI his brains and legs to move to office aren't tired yet @91yrs?(Lol) Besides, he is performing better than what we have. I hope ( like us) they won't be expecting a political messiah only to be deceived with fake chg.....

Cos he be like say when person too dey enjoy, e go dey find how to taste suffer small

Addendum: One can fly into Yola( Adamawa) since we don't know how safe the road is and drive into Garaou( we need Northerners to confirm this road for us if safe too ie 6hrs+ journey).....

Anything inside Cameroon eg Garaou is SAFE, night buses too within Cameroon SAFE.

Recently, buses now move from Garaou to Ngaoundere, 6hrs+ journey for 5,000frs and Train from Ngaoundere to Yaounde which is 13hrs+ journey is now 10,000frs instead of 25,000frs..... Which magic are they performing please ( lol)?

Re: Thread For Nigerians In Other African Countries by sharone21(f):
Hi. Please, always try to change your money at Ikom or Ekok border( if no chance to change it at Ikom). If you need to do transfer instead of holding cash, buy sim at Ekok and data and do transfer. WAIT if need be.

Don't EVER allow a Driver to do as if he is helping you to get to Bamenda 1st to change money for you so that you quickly get to town even if he helps you negotiate or evade several Control check points.

You will be cheated with the exchange rate and reduced value of money in frs.

Despite this, this Driver will still have the mind to ask you to dash him money for helping you evade some Control.

Don't do BDC Exchange with anyone at Bamenda Hospital Round About bearing Chidinma S. Obinna( or anywhere she may later be). She will collect both the high parallel market rate plus extra commission.
