Even if I don't mention any politician name,it does not still tally. Pdp has never won Akoko Edo or owan east so how can it be pdp? Even in owan west, obaseki won with just with 200 votes and the speaker won through violence...How do you say a politician is Expired when he always wins elections? Is oshiomhole or okojie expired?

Thank you for hitting home the truth. 90% of elections in Nigeria are decided by local factors esp in rich,educated, independent,liberal thinking states which are mostly in the south. Only few states which are poor and dependent on Abj allow national matters to affect their polls...

For Edo, what will decide is the performance of the incumbent,track records of the candidates,strength of the parties,directions of politicians etc..The state of the country will only play a minor role.same thing happened in 2020,2016,2012 etc cc engineerboat

Pdp agents were caught with stolen PVC in. Ovia,pdp thugs were preventing card collection in Akoko and pdp agents were caught conniving with Inec to divert voters card in Ikpoba and Etsako. Pdp threatened to attack APC in Ewohimi.

Prof was an academic forced into politics like Gej,was never rooted so I don't blame him much. Umakhihe is from Owan east and can't do more than he has. he has campaigned enough in owan west and promised 5 mil for the highest voting ward.. the APC stalwarts like Donald Obesuke in Owan has to rise to the occasion...

I am somehow concerned in Edo central.pdp has a lot of bigwigs there.Apart from esan central and esan NE,the other lgas are pro pdp

Think back about the rejection of PDP in 2007 on account of Lucky Igbinedion's abysmal failure despite the perception that PDP had done well at the national level.

Sir,you reechoed my thoughts. Indeed, prof lost because of the failure of Igbinedion and the popularity of Oshiomhole among the local population and also the rejection of Anenih as a local godfather..

In 2012, oshiomhole was massively reelected due to his sterling performance, rejection of godfather Anenih which are local factors. External factors like federal might were powerless.
In 2016, oshiomhole performance and popularity earned Obaseki the victory..

In 2020,the rejection of Oshiomhole as a godfather, gangup by local politicians,division in the state APC, resolve by the Binis to vote Obaseki,sympathy votes earned Obaseki reelection. Same thing will play out this year

That's how you people analysed the 2020 election but I and one of my friends on that day became Field Marshals delivering six polling stations inside the Ekosodin Primary school. APC rigging plans were totally twarted that day because I mounted a road block to whatever they planned that day. And it will surely happen again.

Esan West has become apc strongest hold in edo central in recent elections. Esan West is my surest bet in esan land. Osunbor is in the same league with prof ihonvbere,they're elitist. Osunbor has no grassroot influence. He has never delivered iruekpen to apc. Ikhine, joefel, obhakhan etc are more than enough. The people are angry with obaseki in the way he has run AAU aground.
