I was dazed when I heard the news....it was hard to accept the reality but in all,I am not happy as it affects everyone.

This is not what they told us about Tinubu although I have never believed him as a person cos,he was just the opposite of what they say about him.

So sad we were all misinformed.. ..But we were told that he singlehandedly built Lagos from scratch.....So we believed....But now,even ordinary fried pork meat wey I dey chew anyhow for Buhari regime I can't buy anymore

What is the average in other countries with similar economy,population or income as Nigeria? Pakistan? Brazil?

What I do now is go to mararaba, buy three chicken for 15k monthly, kill, prepare and refrigerate,

I use it to cook and it last for more than 2 months for me

Laps. The lady I buy from usually gives me 4 laps for a kilo. I do tell her to cut it into 3 pieces. Making it 12 pieces in all.

Those 4 laps is what I pay 5k for.

Do you think I'll pay for something that's not up to a kilo. Which seller in this Tinubu's administration would sell you 8 chicken laps for 1 kilo? Make una de sufry de lie abeg.

You clearly don't buy chicken cos if you do, you won't be making this argument.

Only Orobo laps are sold in frozen food outlets cos there's meaningful meat on it. No body would sell you laps of old layer. So size has nothing to do with it. Cos if you put 8 laps of chicken on any scale whether Orobo or old layers, it would clearly be above 1 kilo.

You are right. Chicken offers more value than beef. Another close alternative is Goat meat.

I don't know why people buy chicken in kilos. Here, 7k can get you a jumbo-sized chicken andnthat includes half kilo of laps (2 pieces) and other parts.

You are right, but Fish can be quite tiring and there is a restriction on what you can prepare with fish.

Chicken is a good source of protein and a healthier option compared to most meats out there. It is also not calorie-dense as compared to beef. Moderation, however, is the key to watch out for. Eating morethan the calories your body burns in a day would definitely result in weight gain.

That's the sad reality. Cos transportation has increased so these traders in order not to sell at a loss would add the hiked transport fare to whatever price they decide to sell.

7k cannot get you a jumbo sized frozen chicken here in Lagos. Although if you add like 1k to it, it can get you live old layer, but not jumbo size.

I still remember buying a kilo of chicken 1.1 - 1.2 naira 2019.

With beef 500 naira i can cook soup. That was then shall.

With 2k beef the whole pot will full and heavy
