Guys! Please don’t go to Oman! There are NO jobs! Don’t be fooled by the agents THERE ARE NO JOBS…. Use the 2.8 Millions to do mini-importation from China or focus on another country outside Middle East. Don’t think they are helping you when they get you a 2 year work visa… they may end up using you to smuggle drugs.. Many innocent boys and girls have been caught at Muscat Airport carrying bags of foodstuffs from contacts in oman or agent but hidden in them are drugs! Those in Oman helping you get visa, both Omanis and the Nigerians there are just hustlers,, using you to cash out. The agents collect 400omr (1.6Million) while the Nigerians bill you 2.8 Million. THE GUYS THERE ARE JOBLESS…PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON VISA TO OMAN. Ladies there are into prostitution.. they are in rented flats waiting for the Indians and Bangladeshi clients …. Migrant workers! It’s a hopeless life over there in Oman. Don’t waste your funds chasing joblessness… or sleeping in abandoned houses. Scrutiny by Customs at Muscat airport is intense. This guy in the Custom photo was bursted last month. He is a known dude in Mabailah. He was tricked by agent with job offers. Ended up in Muscat, no jobs .. nothing! He decided to go trip for one oga.for a fee. He got bursted at airport. The oga don run comot country. 5 Likes

lazkizz:Glad you did. The trip to Oman is a waste of money. The boys are all jobless hanging outside a restaurant called Lasgidi. It’s a wasted life in a HOT desert with no hope.. living on bread and sachet coffee all day. Some are sleeping rough in abandoned buildings. They can’t come home - no ticket. They can’t move on because there is no place else to go from there. All desert.. UAE is a neighbor but they mounted motion detectors along the border. Border guards everywhere. PlayerMeji:Quite an experience. Not a good place, if you ask me. It’s dehumanizing.. and many boys are going through this all in name of going abroad. What is far worse is the dog-eat-dog phenomenon where boys who are stranded are luring boys in so that they could cash out out and escape the desert nation. |

Yorubas will say.. 'eni ba n wa iwakuwa, oju re ma ri irikuri'. Some people never listen to warnings till they fall victim and end up wasting their youthful years behind bars. This was how Nigerians were getting sold like commodities in Libya not too long ago.. the females (including virgins) that left for Libya ended up as sex slaves to Arabs. Report from Mabailah (Muscat) A long police convoy of Buses and patrol vans (over 40 cars) raided Mabailah 6 where many Africans live. Both documented and undocumented migrants were taken away. Reason: increase in crime by Africans. Don’t go to Oman. There are no jobs. The stranded ones are resulting to robbery, washwash, pimping, d.dealing etc.. Don’t wast your life. Don’t waste that 2.8million to pay agent for visa that doesn’t guarantee employment. Use that money to hustle here or go to a better country. 7 Likes 1 Share

Just two days ago, I was told of a crackdown on Nigerian immigrants in Muscat. The op is right about the scarcity of jobs for African immigrants in Oman but Nigerians should stop jumping into crime as the only alternative to lack of jobs. There's a huge population of Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis in Oman, why aren't they being raided and arrested? And fellow Nigerians are the ones trafficking young girls into Oman as prostitutes and housemaids where they suffer abuses. Omanis are the nicest people among the Arabs and their country is the most peaceful in the middle East but Nigerians should stop trying to take advantage of that to do crime. 4 Likes 1 Share |

O.Y.O. For those wey enter Oman One Oga go carry plenty boys out for HK to dey bomb CL. A particular “group” from delta state are quite notorious for this. And many of these boys are rude and rough.. sagging pants, wearing sleeveless in town in daylight when you know the people don’t like this dress style. And the worst is many of ‘em go about on dread…. It makes them look sooooooo out of place. Imagine the sight… all local males in clean white, well shaven or trimmed and ladies in flowing abaya Then comes boys with dread looking mean and dirty. Not a good sight Dress well, stay clean. Don’t be loud.. maintain your lane. If you no see work.. enter plane go back bongo. No waste your life for Oman 7 Likes

Update on the raid More than 270 Africans were picked up at Mabailah 6,7 and 8. All were screened for drugs… urine and blood analysis Those with drug in their blood were Transferred to another department to be prosecuted. Those without a valid visa were sent to deportation camp. Those with a valid visa required their visa sponsor to sign their release back to town. The landlord of this building in photo has asked all Nigerians there to vacate the building. Boys are suffering .. e no easy. No work. They are mostly spending from savings in Nigeria. Someone said they have closed visa for Nigerians. I am not sure. It might help stem the fraud -agents sending boys to Oman promising work availability for 2.8million.
