It appears every body tilted towards Stanbic MMF. FBN QUEST has the highest returns on investment followed by UNITED CAPITAL. I stand to be corrected. |

Harshreality:No, they do all transactions in dollars The only firm that allows naira deposits for Dollar fund is Norrenberger. Please note, for the Norrenberger, it's not dollar placement but dollar fund. |

NL1960:Having difficulty validating my bvn, what should I do? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 8:07am On Sep 13, 2024 |
Fwaz:Sometimes it's network. You can try again later. Or u can use the form in that case you will print, complete and send back to them. Chat with me if you need more guidance. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Fwaz: 8:08am On Sep 13, 2024 |
NL1960:Please did you validate her bvn? I have been getting an error message whenever I tried doing so. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 8:12am On Sep 13, 2024 |
Tohmey:SFS is actually fixed income fund not MMF. It's still the best in terms of fixed income fund. The fund is good if u don't have large sum to invest at once, you want to have the opportunity to top up and still wish to participant in FGN Bonds. The rate is not as volatile as MMF which is valued daily |
| Re: Mutual Funds by NL1960: 8:30am On Sep 13, 2024 |
Fwaz:Yes. The BVN will bring out the names on the BVN and if they are different from what was filled on the form, it will ask you if it should replace them with what is in the BVN. |

Hey guys I contacted GT Fund Managers about investment, the gave me forms to fill and account to deposit my investment amount. What that made me surprised is the fact that the account was a Stanbic IBTC account Why would GTBank Fund managers be using an account with Stanbic IBTC ? Does this mean the fund I’m investing with them is going to be re-invested by them into Stanbic Money Market Investment ?? This is weird

| Re: Mutual Funds by Obinnau(m): 4:07pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
Richdiamond000:It is normal. All mutual funds select another bank to act as the funds custodian to minimize misuse of investor funds. For example, I use StanbicIBTC, But I make my deposits to a UBA account |

Obinnau:Thank you very much That means he has to open an account with Stanbic ? Because the funds are currently domiciled in GTBank Can he move the funds to the Stanbic money market account at once Please advise. Because this man is an elderly man in his late 60s and is not so tech savvy |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Richdiamond000(m): 4:44pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
MelaninGemstone:See block How did he acquire such wealth 🤯 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by MelaninGemstone(f): 4:47pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
Richdiamond000:he lived abroad (USA) for 25 years and worked for the government He recently just retired and returned home with his life savings, retirement benefits etc Now that he is old, he wants to live and grow old in Nigeria. He wanted to buy a house here in Nigeria with the money, but I advised him to do an investment first to earn something from this amount of capital. Please if there is any investment better than Stanbic money market, please advise me |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Obinnau(m): 4:47pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
MelaninGemstone:No, he does not need to open a StanbicIBTC Account. All he needs to do is sign up using the stanbicIBTC website, he should have his BVN and means of identification handy. after he has submitted his details on stanbic website, they will reach out to him in about 2 business days with his reference number and then he will put the reference number in the transfer narration when he is transferring his money from his GTBank to the Stanbic IBTC mutual funds account so that the Stanbic team can track that the money is attached to the account bearing the reference number. You can sign him up using my referral link https://www.stanbicibtcfundsmanagement.com/invest-now-4b5rly98 contact me if you need further assistance. |

Obinnau:thank you, I will surely use your link Please hope this investment is safe and this old man won’t lose his money Hope transferring such amount of money to Stanbic IBTC mutual fund account is safe Please sorry for all the questions, I promised to help him gather all required info. And the man is so skeptical. He doesn’t want to lose his money, he will rather just buy a house as he feels the property will appreciate over the years |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Obinnau(m): 4:52pm On Sep 13, 2024 |

Thank you very much. Please do you have their current rate? emmasoft: |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Obinnau(m): 5:01pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
MelaninGemstone:The best way to ensure transparency and safety, given the amount of funds involved is that after he has signed up for his account and received his Reference number, he should ho directly to his GTBank branch with the reference number and initiate a funds transfer directly from his branch to the Account that Stanbic will provide for him. this way is rest assured |
| Re: Mutual Funds by MelaninGemstone(f): 5:16pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
Obinnau:Thank you But when the funds are already invested Let’s say my uncle wants to invest for 6 months After 6 months, Liquidating his funds and withdrawing his capital and interests won’t be an issue right ? There won’t be any stories or problems |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Obinnau(m): 5:24pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
MelaninGemstone:No, he will only be charged 20% of his earned interests if he decides to withdraw before 30 days. after 30 days, no issues. the only downside is that he may be limited to withdrawing 5 million per day (not so sure) |
