So many have opted for Family Planning having more than one child with these current reality is madness.
Including politicians?

Family planning must be enforced: a one-child policy is the way out. We need a quality population to progress as a nation.

Endless calls from relatives looking for someone to help them pay for their childrens school fees.

Somebody should tell tinubu that reforms are made for the living and not for the dead.
Family planning is key! We need a quality population.

Sorry if i sound petty, but should we start by exterminating your family in order to get a grip on the ballooning population numbers? Or would you rather we stop others from procreating, while your family stays safe? Most times we tend to come up with all sorts of bizarre alternatives, as long as we are shielded from the net consequences.

The government is not working. No serious organised insensitives to farmers and scientists, no serious attempt to skill the population enough for them to be competitive in the global stage, no attempts to create a robust banking sector to lend to the citizens for startups.. Just reduce the population and all will be well, eight?

Common sense should dictate that I am talking about what should happen going forward. We can't kill the existing souls.

You really made a lot of sense in your thread. You sounded like a prophet who saw the future. As at when u created this thread, things weren't this bad. I know our leaders are corrupt, but u see this child birth of a thing, it is also a contributory factor to our hardship like u rightly said. Our population is growing too fast to be honest. When u want to raise the issue, most poor people will start attacking u because it is the only easy thing they can do.
Even though high birth rates is usually associated with poorer countries and the largely uneducated or poorly educated, in Nigeria's case, certain traditional norms perpetuate the narrative of having many children.

Anyway, across most African countries and indeed most parts of the world, childbearing is the major reason behind marriage.

I'm against aggressive population control, especially when the government is doing a absolutely nothing to train tbe population to contribute to the economic growth of the country.

Take your kids to public schools as you ppl like your president wanted or reregister to the ones closer home.
My kids have been to 3 schools because of transfers and all three are a stone throw from home.
I'm too lazy for school runs and too humane to submit them to that distance stress.

You made bad policies and still expect people to pay for it while sacrifice nothing on your own side.
Somebody should boldly come out to show us any sacrifice Tinubu has made concerning these wicked taxes he keeps introducing without thinking how majority of the people would be economically destroyed ?

The truth is, things have never been this bad. Only those who lack conscience will differ. I see many parents defaulting on fees. The rant will go far this time cos no solution in sight. Min wage increase won't solve any problems cos fuel price hike will only shoot up prices of commodities which the min wage couldn't cover b4 the hike.
Parents defaulting, kids sent home or out of classes, Teachers lil salaries delayed or half payment. embarassed

Kai. embarassed this line touch me oh. According to your stat , the 97% deciding the reality of 3%... So unfair. Majority mostly decide the reality of the minority.

Because the state did not provide with the skills and finance to compete with their mates elsewhere. Bad governance. Perennial ineptitude in high placed. The state failed them. The state is to be blamed, not the poor folks. It is the duty of the state to train the people enough to compete

Nothing stops you from sponsoring a bill at the National Assembly to that effect. Also advise people to stop complaining about the high cost of transport to and from work and just resign from their work. Don't forget to advise people without spouses and children who can no longer feed as a result of the recent unexplained increase in the price of fuel to go and hang themselves, simply because your 'always right' is at the helm of affairs in this contili. Na una be the first people to support candidate wey even when the man dey strangle una, una still de support am.
