It is well. The people of Benin Republic, Cameroon, Togo, Ghana, Niger Republic, Burkina Faso and several others have been buying fuel at the rate that Nigerians are just getting used to. They are not dead, they are not in hell. We are going to be fine. We should be tired of 64 years with no clear direction, we had several decades of subsidized fuel with nothing to show. the problem wasn't the subsidy but the skyrocketing population making it hard for the subsidy to be feasible. Even if somehow we found a creditor and subsidy remains for like 20 years more, with this current birth rate each Nigerian would be asked to either donate or be forced to pay n a worse case scenario

If you're saying they shouldn't pay the new minimum wage (while earning in USD) and also not pay subsidy, then what template are you proposing to keep Nigerians alive? You do understand that the essence of the minimum wage is to prevent worker's exploitation and that Nigeria's (new) minimum wage still remains one of the lowest in Africa right?

Tinubu took two economically-important decisions simultaneously, without fully understanding the macroeconomic by-effects. If he had removed subsidy and kept the Naira value (controlled) or devalue the Naira and keep paying subsidy (which could be gradually removed, coupled with strong economic reforms), it would have been a good idea...

I doubt your credentials if not you would have understood that controlling the value of a currency is a bad thing to do especially for an unproductive economy like ours. Subsidy has to go, no ifs or buts. Tinubu is at fault because he kicked against the same plan enacted by Jonathan. The reason I am glad he is going all these travails. Karma is well deserved!

When the Greeks talk about tribes, it’s not just about ethnicity, they also consider religion, gang membership, group membership, party membership and even cult membership as a tribe.

A great percentage of Africans are tribesmen, because they view everything from the point of view of their tribes. They trust only their tribesmen

3. The last group are "Citizens".
These are people who like to do things the right way.
They will respect traffic light rules even if no one is watching them.

They drive within speed limits.
They respect the laws, and won’t cheat in exams.
In government, they won’t steal.
They are compassionate and give to others to promote their well-being.

Citizens often promote projects that benefit everyone.
The Greeks called this group "The Citizens".

Some countries have more citizens than tribesmen and idiots, others have so many idiots.

A tribesman can become a citizen through orientation.
And an idiot can become a citizen by training and constant enforcement of the law.

But things fall apart if you elect an idiot or tribesman to lead you if he has not been reformed.

Where do you belong? Are you an idiot, a tribesman or a citizen? Reflect on your life.
Reflect about your immediate community, city, state and nation.
