She didn't quite hit that level, although she gave it her best shot.

That said, Trump has a ceiling with debates.
Thankfully, he has a record and quick wit to fall back to.

All he had to do was have an average performance and not be taken to the cleaners by her to stay in the race and he got that.

Kamala totally distracted him from whatever plan he may have had going into this debate. This was a strong showing for Kamala. Most people thought Kamala would be the one being upset especially without the hot mic but it was the opposite.

She was clear cut on her policies while at the same time exposing the old swanky rapist felon with no clothes.

Kamala stuck to and succeeded with her game plan. She avoided questions she doesn't like, succeeded in selling herself and policies and got on Trump's skin, to the extent that he was too distracted rambling on uneccessaries and forgot to answer questions that would have easily give Kamala a knock.
