Cheap as how?

Meanwhile at a cheap price dm me for your logo and flyer design
low diesel prices meant people now started patronizing diesel more and petrol less.

This is childishly fake.
If they say importers, that may be plausible.
But marketers complaining of cheap diesel price that is obviously false
Marketers make their money from margins and not cost price.

In fact, a cheaper diesel will be highly beneficial to low-finance marketers.

Now Nigerians know who the real enemies of Nigeria and her people are - the major cabals in the oil and gas sector.

They've been milking their fellow compatriots dry for decades all in the name of doing "business".

They don't give a hoot whether hapless Nigerians are dying as a result of their insatiable greed.

This is a system that has been fully entrenched and they can't just let go without a fight.

Tinubu must extricate himself from these enemies of our collective progress and cut these so-called marketers down to size if Nigeria is to make any meaningful headway.

The time is now!

Failure to do so would amount to being an accomplice to the on-going rot in the oil and gas industry.

He must be able to call their bluff and make the Dangote Refinery function maximally to the benefit of all Nigerians.

Lol, what is the rationale behind them wanting high prices for diesel?

This news get as e be. Maybe the marketers get small mentalll problem coz this news sound somehow to me.
What I think is that the landing cost of the imported ones is about the same price Dangote is selling. They buyer cheaper outside + importation = about same figure as dangote. They come into Nigeria and sell way higher.

If they buy from Dangote, we will all know the real cost and can determine their greed. Another angle could be that they are benefitting from $$$ exchange. They get the dollars cheap from the Govt, do arbitrage in black market and make gains. If they buy from Dangote there will be no chance for arbitrage since it will be Naira transaction.

My opinion.

This accusation doesn't add up. Is it not the margin that matters. Unless they have been lying about their margins.

If they were buying N1100 and selling N1300 now that they buying N900, they'll sell N1100. Why should that be a problem

Dangote needs to stop complaining and just set up distribution point nationwide and put these bastards out of business.

Had Dangote had his marketing department where fuel stations where acquired across Nigeria, all these complaints would not have arisen.

How will anyone believe that a business man will rather buy a product at a higher price to sell than where it is cheaper. And in this case, shipment, time and the risks is involved.
I don't even know what these guys takes Nigerians for. Both the players and decision makers have a lot hiding for Nigerians.
Solving this is not a rocket science but our decision makers have interest hence all this propaganda and fooling Nigerians

Dangote should have a retail store to sell directly to customers, if everyone starts buying from Dangote, they would drop their prices

Re: Petrol Marketers Complained To That Our Diesel Price Is Too Cheap – Dangote by Justnation: 5:43pm On Sep 12, 2024
I hope This is not Dangote"s usual trick.
The aim is to push government to ban importation of diesel, once achieved they become sole dealers and monopoly starts, the next step diesel price will go up astronomically like cement and sugar before.

Let the government extract a binding commitment from Dangote that he will increase price, thereafter ban importation and they all will have no choice than to buy from local refinery

Dangote should just go into retail. Open filling stations nationwide and supply himself.

I am guessing they have outstanding they bought at 1100 they are yet to sell. So that'll be a loss to them.
