Treadway:With all due respect,You were being judgy. As any successful woman can tell you, the first insult people go for is slutshaming. It doesn't work and has no bearing on capability even if it were true. She won that election on her own merits and has held her own ever since. She was Attorney General of california then senator. California o with GDP more than some countries. These were all elective positions. She is formidable and I cannot wait to call her Madam President. ![]() NB:I m very happy with live factchecking by the moderators. All in all ,very good debate. I ll be watching vance/walz. That ll be a bloodbath,I can tell you for free now. I really really like walz. Gosh,he is soooo likable and sweet. And he is a social democrat. I m a huge fan and hang on his every word unashamedly. |

Kenn55:Trump has garnered a lot of support from Latino voters as well, even among 1st gen immigrants. There's a large Latino population in America, so if he wins it will be down to the "ethnic" vote (which appears to also include silent black men) in addition to the expected white vote. |

Treadway:Are you sure your main issue with her doesn't stem from the bolded?... plus some abortion issues Hehe.. you've done your research I can see. I'd hazard a guess and say that some of that 'research' might point to Kamala being backed by globalists/one-world order and illuminati Treadway:Is it that you can't see that someone who is that divisive is not the best choice for a multicultural society like the U.S? There's room for healthy disagreement bit such divisiveness is unhealthy It's like saying you've done your research and Nigel Farage is the best candidate for PM. |

Kenn55:Hehe... it's largely down to lgbtq and abortion issues. Don't be surprised if Reform proposes to strip all non-white folks of their British citizenship and at the same time proposes an anti-abortion/lgbtq stand some of our people would consider supporting them based on the later. When you listen to those mentioned folks, you see most of their anti-illegal immigration stuff is a smoke screen. Their main concern is the changing demography and increasing attainment of minorities. They then go on to paint previous decades before this change as some utopia to rally their fan base so they can 'make America/UK/AUS/Can great again. Yes, I don't support uncontrolled undocumented immigration but as we've seen with the recent UK election campaign and riots, to many of these nut heads, any non-white person = illegal immigrant. |

jedisco:1010%!!! If those coming over the border are from Norway it will not make news no matter the number. Christian value? No real Christian will support Trump, obviously Christianity these days got nothing to do with bible values, its all about cult of personality and money. |

Jedisco Blacks, if you don't vote for me you ain't black enough - Biden 2020. How's that for divisiveness? Apologised a year later, but hypocritical much ain't it? Someone up there is basically rehashing the same divisive rhetoric, and he certainly won't apologize, cos he wouldn't know a wrong thing if it hit him in the face. If you don't vote for Dems or Kamala, you ain't Christian enough is his message. I can just imagine the bile and rhetoric about racial and religious divisiveness if Trump had said 'If you don't vote for me, you ain't white enough or Christian enough'. Lol So much for the hypocritical hate on the evil called divisiveness.😁💯👏 To be calming down na good thing aswear🤣..cos when person hyperventilate too much, esp about things im no dey knowleageble on, by the time e rope himself in sef or shoot himself in the foot, him no go know. Lol |

Goke7:During the COVID I was watching one well known man of God from Nigeria going on about how God sent Trump to change things but that the FBI and some powerful people are fighting him. He believes that the church should pray so that Trump wins second term in office. I was shocked because I respected his teachings and his knowledge of the bible. Thankfully Trump lost as angels from Africa did not intervene |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Goke7: 3:25pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
justwise:Actually in Nigeria it was because Obama refused to supply arms to Nigeria to fight boko haram due to human rights violations according to Obama that drove many Christians to trump they saw Obama and the democrats as anti Christianity for that singular act in addition to all the LGBT ish. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by justwise(mod): 3:54pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
Goke7:So i'm guessing that Trump supplied those arms to Nigeria during his time in office? Trump appointed Richard Grenell to Cabinet, the first openly gay person to hold a Cabinet-level position, Trump banned Muslims from traveling to America during his time in office but Nigerians did not see that as an attack on religion. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Goke7: 4:02pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
justwise:Yeah he actually did supplied the arms of course he had to after all those support with visa denials for Nigerians like shege 😜. He even classed Nigeria among those countries with majority Muslims for the visa ban. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Kenn55: 4:04pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
Treadway:So this single Biden quote in which he apologized compares to the hate venom Trump has been dishing out not once but back to back to back since 2016 and hasn't apologized for even once? Instead of apologizing, he doubles down on it. Are you for real? Trump said "Immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country" echoing the words from Nazi Germany before the holocaust. Do you realize the amount of concentrated hatred that would reside in someone's heart before he can voice that dangerous rhetoric in public? In case you don't know, immigrants he is talking about is people that look like you and me. He is saying you carry poison that is destroying his white country. What do you do with a poisonous creature when they are near you? You kill them before they attack you. So what Trump is doing is to give cover and justification for his base to attack immigrants should a UK style anti immigrant riot happen in America which will happen very soon as " Haitian immigrants start eating pets and dogs" according to him and his base There is a valid argument to be made about the amount of immigration pouring into a country but Trump and his base issue is not whether immigration is high or legal, it is they dislike non white people are coming in. A white boy tried to assassinate him, white guys are king of school shootings that have killed many American kids, he doesn't bring that up even on campaign train. Imagine if they perpetrators of these crimes were black and immigrants, the whole black community and immigrants would have been recieving it wotowoto from him I'm going to assume that people like you who are immigrants and make kindergarten arguments in defense of Trump have not really known him well and what he and the entire MAGA movement represents. Otherwise, I will say you guys are too naive. |

Kenn55:illagal Mexicans look like me and you? You and I both know these are either utterly unfounded claims, or misrepresented claims, which I have seen the unfair media do time and time again, even live. That alone is enough for me to give the guy a break despite that the guy isn't perfect. I shared a Candace owen video awhile ago (you should watch it), where they tried to distort and misrepresent what she said on live camera nonetheless, not knowing someone on the panel would yield his time to her to respond and call out their shenanigans. Media that has been caught distorting several of his comments, shouldn't expect me to believe without evidence clickbait that they have become accustomed to spewing. I certainly won't take all they dish hook line and sinker. Shikena. Shebi Kamala stilll lied about these in the debate 'very fine people on both sides comment' The bloodshed comment' Both misrepresented and have been debunked, but some people decide to still hold on to those, and the many more like it. Hate him if you want, but provide evidence, not just kalokalo that CNN is dishing and spreading online. At the recent NABJ conference live, he said to the lady in blue, and I quote 'that you would start off in such a hostile tone, despite being here in high spirits, and you starting late is disgraceful'. Headlines immediate read Trump calls black reporter disgraceful. You will now hold onto that and say he's racist, meanwhile that was downright false. Those two sentences mean two different things, but you expect me who has been paying attention to the fine details of the game, to join the bandwagon cos the guy talks anyhow, is rambunctious, proud, and is blunt. That you don't like someone or their attributes doesn't make them racist. Simple as ABC. Show proof of his racism, I dare you or anyone for that matter. If Kamala had any, she wouldn't have brought up the flats that he didn't rent out before 1906 (not actual date🤣), as her evidence of racism, don't you think. If she had proof of racism she for talk am na. QED |

So of everything I wrote, this is all you could interpret in defense of Trump? You don't know the difference between white and non white? Mtshewwwww |

Kenn55:I do, and I also know the difference between fact and feelings. I have fleshed out the facts in the modification of the quoted post. Quote me back and present facts, not too much to ask. Show evidence abeg. Make Kamala fit use am rather than 1905 issue of not renting out flats. I know the definition of racism and I put it to you to show us all, your evidence of his racism Ps: I already said it myself that that dog and cat comment is/was stupid. I don't agree with everything the man says or the man does, but I still won't let feelings or biased media make me call a spade, a fork. I also mentioned at some point that this guy was a freaking TV star (lights camera action for many years), that was paid t for the most part to be bossy, to talk unguarded etc, for the most part. I know his etiquette and drama is much, but all that doesn't make him a racist, sadly. It just makes him all those things, you could say he's unhinged and over-the-top, and that would be spot on. Also, he already ruled for 4 years, and unsurprisingly as you may have noticed the world didn't end. Infact on the contrary there was peace all through. Lobatan |

Treadway:You’re the one that thinks Obama is an angel. Obama was even pro American than trump. He was the one who actually started pulling American economic interventions out of Africa that made Chinese influence in Africa grow to what it is today. The difference is that Obama does his things silently and you won’t hear noise. It’s actually on record that Obama deported more undocumented migrants than Trump but not many knew as there was no impression of bigotry made like Trump do. It was even in Obama time that Nigerians were finally excluded from the American green lottery program all in the excuse of Nigerians exceeding the quota so rest America has always had their policy. Trump only promotes division and bigotry |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Treadway: 4:43pm On Sep 13, 2024 |
Goke7:he is the president of USA, he isn't there to please Nigerians or seek your validation by easy passage into the country. Also, remember Mutallab? Also remember boko haram? Are Nigerians flooding the USA today under Biden? It became harder even under Biden, so what's your point gangan. See? Facts over feelings If he had kept the ban on weapons, same you will say today that he didn't supply weapons to help you defend your country cos he hates blacks. He removed the ban, now you're saying what was the effect? The effect is this isn't about him, it's about you. He would have to be baptized in 2000 holy waters before you see him in any other light.
