When I 1st saw this clip on X, I was like WTF!, how could she have gone completely off tangent from a question like this, till I saw the whole interview.

Watching the full interview, I realized, it was the 1st question and she decide to 1st introduce herself and background to the audience before delving into the question, which she later attempted. You can fault her strategy but don't create a lie by making it look like she is a total dumbass by posting half truth.
