I hope all those dumb Aghadorians can now see that it's NNPCL that's been lying all along out of hate and envy for Dangote refinery.
The plan has always been what Dangote said. Give them Nigeria's domestic crude allocation to be paid for in naira and get petrol for NNPCL to be paid for in naira as well. The other products will have margins determined by the market and Dangote is free to sell to anyone including international market as gain.
This is a win- win move for Nigeria and the economy and I do not understand why NNPCL was grandstanding and causing unnecessary tension in the country with their lies. Kyari needs to be sacked. That he's still there till now is a wonder I can't fathom. NNPCL's corporate behaviour has been nothing short of scandalous under him.
The part I don't get from Edun's speech is associated fees for NPA and NIMASA. What fees are those? Are we making use of ports or waterways in transporting and loading Dangote fuel? I hope this is not chop for the boys.

This whole NNPC-DANGOTE rigmarole raises a lot of doubts, on the intent of this administration in providing affordable petrol to Nigerians.

I think both NNPC and DANGOTE are looking for an exploitative advantage.

That's what Dangote has been requesting for all this while. He wants the government to be buying from him directly.

If that is not fixed by this regime, the next one will fix it

What is the essence of the announcement, Subsidy Gone! Nigeria is still paying subsidy. NNPC and Federal government should come out clean. Dangote said that he has trackers to track his oil till they reach to final destination. If FG is subsidizing let them say it. If not Dangote PMS should be open to all marketers

Put 100% of the blame on NNPC, those guys are wicked beyond description. If those guys had fixed the refineries, Dangote wouldnt've had the guys to even build a refinery, it would've been a bad business.

Nnpc fixed at N897 about 24 hours before dangote announced production of fuel.

Do you think it was a coincidence?

That's why dangote with his announcement of production could not announce price.

Nnpc wants to run the entire show cos if it allows dangote fix price, it will burst their lies about how much they have been spending on subsidy with the phantom "landing cost". With dangote now producing, it removes every justification for fuel importation.

How will they now steal?

NNPCL is now the official marketing and logistics department for Dangote Refinery.....

They have access to 4 national refineries in the country but they prefer embezzling the TAM allocations than to create an healthy competitive business environment in oil and gas sector. I consider this as a shameless attitude from the NNPCL

Nigerians Should list the names of individual destroying Nigeria, region by region. Niger Delta should take the lead starting from asari,wike and others

You get the point! They killed the refineries so they can keep importing, ripping the country off. Now that a private individual has built his refinery, they want to buy all his product so they can dictate the price at which Nigerians can buy the product. When we clamoured for an honest leader they cheered a thieving drug lord to power, now here we are.

This arrangement doesn't seem to clean to me, why will dangote sell diseal to other marketers and pms only to nnpc? why not kuku sell everything to nnpc ,why remove just pms abi no be the same crude oil dey supply both diseal and pms?
