If they are legally married, he is legally the father.
This principle was inherited from the very old common law.

There is no way out unless he is jobless or very poor and remains so forever,

To avoid all these unexpected headaches, they should make DNA test compulsory once a child is birthed so everyone knows their stands. It would be unfair to train someone's else child under the guise of parenthood, it's best he does so willingly than being lied to.

Are you going to fund the tests that will now run into billions of Naira per year?
Or you want another DNA subsidy from the government?

Even if the government can afford, can you rationally defend spending the money on

The capitalized part has nothing to do with what I stated.
Paternity fraud, even when it exists in written law, is never enforced unless
it was done in conjunction with other serious crimes.

Now, to the issue of Nigeria.
Even though Nigeria does not enforce child support.

Any child born within marriage legally belong to the father.
So, no man can come from anywhere to legally claim a child even with DNA evidence
as that constitute degrading the sanctity of marriage.

Also, note that a DNA test is only valid when ordered by the court and that requires
the consent of both parents if they are married.

A DNA-negative child may still enjoy the father's inheritance as long as they are
born within marriage.

Marrying a virgin don't assure you of anything just seek spiritual help from God before getting married..,. It will go a long way to reduce what we are seeing 2dy..... Many gals just marry becos of time is against them nd societal pressure on dem.... Removing love totally away from the most available suitor..
